Thanks for posting that. I'm looking forward to checking it out and getting some pics for us.

And the s/o just said, when I showed this pic... "Good. You can get your geek on while we are out there."

Apparently no one asked what I thought... Good to know.

That would have made a nice new line...

My shortest line on a mainline jet was DCA-IAD one evening when they needed to beat the curfew. But it was not a 747, rather a New York Air DC-9.:)

Did they even bother to bring up the landing gear? :D

FLL-MIA was shorter - you never did that one?

I had to meet one of our inbounds that ended up diverting to OAK. I thought they were joking when they told me.

That would have been a cool line to have as well: OAK-SFO.

Edit: This was several years ago. Nothing was diverted into SFO today. Beautiful weather.

I'm pretty sure that had scheduled service on a wide-body at one time.

Today appears to be the day for unique lines.

Random Travel Tool project of the week mostly completed: Advanced MR Calculator. You specify crediting carrier and status and then the operating carrier and fare of the ssegments and it figures out the actual credit earned. Useful for multi-carrier MRs and for trying to decipher the myriad earning rules for carriers.

Thus far only CO earning rules - all 560+ - in there but it is built to scale nicely. I just need to get around to compiling the earning data for some other programs.

Sounds like a solid effort ^

I almost had that like with CO. I Booked EWR-MIA-FLL operated by CO/Gulfstream, but the MIA-FLL flight was delayed and we were going to miss our cruise out of Miami, so the agent dropped that segment. We ended up getting a refund of almost 50% of the ticket price :D

You know, I think that I did that once on EA, maybe in the "70s. Some memories fade and that is why it is impossible for me to accurately fill in a Flight Memory page.
