Feeling bad for you all in the northeast. Seriously. I used to live there and have many friends in and around PHL. It's HARD to feel bad, since it has been absolutely gorgeous in the pit the last couple days, and will be gorgeous tomorrow and Monday.
:p Enjoy the nice weather down there! |

I have bookmarked this post and will use it in a few short months when Pitsters start moaning about 100 degree temps and 110% humidity.:p

Olton Hall's wind gusts have made it up north and are causing my lights to blink.

Finished grading one assignment for my full semester course (about 150 pages of student work). Now to figure out dinner and beer.

Good evening, Box. Just returned from an awesome day, one of the three we will have this year. Perfect temps, lunch on a patio with yummy margs. My stepchildren were well behaved. And I'm going up to NYC in a few weeks to visit teh nieces and nephew.

Nice! My possible new work location is near a flight path and I'm looking forward to it.
Back from the vet. Very entertaining sitting there with 2 GIANT Great Danes in the waiting area. Wow, those dogs are big. We saw a few Great Danes at the park today - I tried to convince teh mister that four doxies were indeed far less work than one Great Dane. He didn't go for that...

 I've spent the last 2 hours of my morning monitoring the dog throwing up. Of course my vet is booked solid today but I do have some left over medicine from the last episode of her bout with this problem.
Atleast she is drinking lots of water and walking around otherwise I would be rushing off to the animal hospital hocking my first born to pay for that bill. On a brighter note it's a beautiful day. Cool and sunny.

I went through that process with the massive black walnut tree I had to have removed from my backyard.
Next question - is the tree something with a value to furniture makers or such via Craigslist (like my large tree was)?

How old's the washing machine?
That sounds much more repairable. I'm really not going to sleep well tonight with this wind and rain. I'm worried about another ash tree and I can't see it well with the flood light. The are puddles all around it. This tree if it went over would end up on the house. |
