True, but it probably conflicted somehow with teh LH FRA-EZE nonstop.

Yeah maybe as far as competition, but who in their right mind (except us) would buy CO FRA-EWR-IAH-EZE instead of FRA-EZE nonstop :-:

FL just started a sale today. Perhaps CO will match some of the HOU-FL routes?

UA - as part of their continual schedule changes - decided to drop my first segment on the HUp run. Most assuredly did not book an open-jaw ...

My fiancee would argue for the multi-stop if she had to get between those two cities, and she might throw in PTY for good measure, since she gets "antsy" if she's on a plane for too long, even in F.

JBLU seems to be reacting nicely to this morning's news. Too bad I don't hold more of it.

I wouldn't say "insane amount of equity" - equity would be built over time while land itself definitely won't (and transportation infrastructure probably won't). Like my home - I've spent $22,000 total in principle, interest, tax, and insurance since 2006 and $14,000 was paying myself instead of a landlord.

And with the exception of ZRH mistake fare, I have the "4-hour rule" for Y.

Even if the real estate market corrects itself to pre-recession levels in 5-10 years, that's a pretty healthy ROI.

I keep telling her this, but I'll never pay that asking price. So until SQ opens that flight to mileage redemption, I'll be planning my fantasy jaunt through Asia on a route that permits redemption.

It's going to be much longer than that ;)
