That's a heck of a diversion, which flight was it?

Yes, a little bit of an odd diversion. It was PVR-JFK.

Sorry to hear - first question is whether the tree's "yours" or not.

You are having a bad day for sure!

After some online digging it might be the coupler between the motor and transmission slipping as it seems the transmission won't make funny noises like this.

I didn't suggest waiting a year or two to book an itinerary!

I had one of those elastic hair things my daughters wore get into the guts of the washer once and mess it up. There were also missing socks inside the motor area!

As far as the hole in the ground...well that will take some time for you to fill in. You did say you were bored. Now you have something to do and it will also double as some serious exercise time.

I went through that process with the massive black walnut tree I had to have removed from my backyard.

Next question - is the tree something with a value to furniture makers or such via Craigslist (like my large tree was)?

Sounds like a pretty crazy night to be flying in to JFK (and all NY airports I'm sure) - winds steady around 40mph, gusting to 50+mph (as high as 74!) and wind shear +/- 20 mph at 1000ft.

Not fun at all.

For immediate release.

Delta Airlines today announces the start of their new route LAX-SFO. The route will be flown 5x daily with 2x 737-800 and 3x CRJ-900 service. Delta's CEO talked about this new route on the monthly investor conference call.

"It's clear that is the time that this route is served by Delta. For too long there has been a lack of service between the two largest cities on the West Coast. Today is a historic day as Delta will now fill a gap in the US market that has existed since the dawn of US commerical air transport. No longer shall the consumer be left with having to chose between United airlines, American airlines, Southwest, and Virgin America on that route. We expect this route to be incredibly profitable that will feed our already dominate LAX hub."

Full comments as well as investor reaction to the new route were posted to Delta's Youtube channel.

How old's the washing machine?

That sounds much more repairable.

I was wondering where my socks went.

I hate JFK almost as much as flying US and AZ.

Feeling bad for you all in the northeast. Seriously. I used to live there and have many friends in and around PHL. It's HARD to feel bad, since it has been absolutely gorgeous in the pit the last couple days, and will be gorgeous tomorrow and Monday.
