Looked like our best bet - a full-service Marriott for free (points). We wanted to do the Buttes Resort, but no availability.

I think the better question is: Do you really want to spend all that money to see the Indians? :p

How did I just know that a lousy Yankees fan would have to make a comment.

;)

I just had what sounded like a very low flying 777 fly over my house with engines changing thrust a few times to deal with the wind gusts.

Any blue ice on the lawn?

Nope. I get the planes every once and a while but never that low or going directly over my house going west to east. My normal view is them over my street or a few streets over goings north to south before they make their turn to go north to land.

Those pics remind me - some nice day when I'm off I need to take shots of just how close the PHL arrivals pass to the building we live in. It's nice to watch and doesn't really mess with us at night either.

We bit the bullet this morning and booked two B-Ups CLE-PHX to catch some Indians spring training games. Was a very costly venture (after the s/o informed me that he no longer sits in the back of the plane  ). No resorts available :( so had to book the Marriott Mesa.

Avis has blacked out all coupons due to "Spring Training".

Either way... we're going to see some baseball and some sun!!

Think positively, look at all the money you saved but him not knowing/ getting FC the last ten years!! ;)

Very cool!! I am near 1400 soon and 735 flights!! At some point I need to get dads log books and start uploading those to my Flight memory.

Nice! My possible new work location is near a flight path and I'm looking forward to it.

Back from the vet. Very entertaining sitting there with 2 GIANT Great Danes in the waiting area. Wow, those dogs are big.

Looks like my international FM is coming along quite nicely. ;)

I think this is about 75-80% accurate. I know I am missing a lot of HP and NW flights though.
723.25 hours and 194 flights through May :-:

I'm very jealous of all your Asia trips. We really want to get there soon. ^

So far, I have only been to HKG and NRT. For this trip in May, We are going to visit HKG, CAN and PVG. ICN and NRT are just connection points for this trip.

I just can't imagine the food bills/poop piles.;) It was funny to see the shock on everyone's face as they came around the corner and saw the dogs.
