No - walk from the nearest (Radisson) hotel. Sadly Radisson wasn't offering 5k BD miles, so I'm in the Days Inn.

sounds like it may soon be Lights Out for you :D

Sounds like there was a change in status recently, though. ^

Clearly I'm in the wrong circles. ;)

If any of the IAH'ers are looking for a hotel for the BD whoring, there is a brand new HoJo by IAH on Greens road.

If I didn't have another place to stay, I would have actually slept in the night and not felt disgusting.

Me, too. Though my "mixer" is usually a couple ice cubes and a slice of lime. :p

There are plenty of ways to drink clear liquors that don't wrap around pear flavored vodka.

For all the vodka lovers out there, Hanger One in its multiple flavors is delicious. You can even do tastings at the Hanger One distillery on the old Alameda base :)

It's good to be back. Night Box!

Hello Box. I'm up waaaay too early. Of course it didn't help that I crashed about abut 9:30 last night. I must have been more tired than I thought. I did end up getting about six straight hours of sleep though, which feels good.

Anyone around?

Anybody in Box-land had any of these beers recommended by the Chicago paper?

(aside from the one Michelob entry - whiskey tango?)

I've had Local 2. It's far too sweet for me. I diasagree with the description in the article. All I tasted was the sweetness, there was no finish.

Crap. Our new travel booking system at work is
not only forcing searches for any lower fares than what you select, but it's copying our managers on our itinerary, and my new team manager seems to be the type who would actually call and ask me why I booked a three stop itinerary from SFO to ATL last night (granted it was only $237, one way, so they can't complain about the price). I need a few more UA trips in March and this may throw a serious kink into those plans.

e-Concour?
That's our new system and it's trying it's best too book me on multiple carrier itineraries. Fortunately it trying to route me via *A where I have no status and would have to pay baggage fees. We were told to use our discretion when it comes to paying airline profit center fees. and CO\*G flights are usually close enough to the lower multi-carrier ones. I'll abuse the system until wrist slap ensues

I had to make a visit to one of those friendly federal places yesterday.
Guy was screaming demands as to where a letter was.
Do you have a tracking number?
Hell no, it was mailed from Wilson, that only 45 miles away on Jan 28th, I have to have it
And you don't have a tracking number?
WTH is a tracking number?
It's the only way we can tell you where your letter is
You mean nobody in this GD system can tell me where that letter is
if you have a tracking number we can
+ lines needed for an additional 4 minutes of

My mother gave me a set of five flavored minis for Christmas. My choices were pear, vanilla, lemon, grapefruit, and raspberry. Fiancee had the raspberry.

I didn't do much the last 2 years, but in the past my stockings have been big enough to hold 20+ minis.
