I am two down, two to go. Mon and Weds next week, at the disgusting Days Inn down the road. Thank goodness I don't have to actually stay there!

"wings" story

I read a similar story last night on the NY Post. Interesting in light of upcoming Undercover Boss. I didn't realize they were privately held.

I'm watching food of the FL state fair. 2 Krispy Kremes with meat (didn't specify), bacon and cheese. What boxer came up with that?

The next segment will focus on the use of bacon there. Is the reporter a boxer???

Oh, I enjoy both. The only winter sport that really doesn't do anything for me as a spectator is cross-country skiing. There are many more summer sports overall, so obviously a larger percentage of obscure ones...but I do like modern pentathlon, field hockey, etc. You can HAVE the beach volleyball, though. It's way too corporate/pageant/trying too hard to be cool.

I'd love to give the luge and skeleton a try.

The first Olympics I can remember watching was Calgary, and ever since then I've been totally fascinated with luge. Looks like tons of fun. Bobsled, too.

And ski jumping...wow. One of the closer things to flying that humans do without wings. :D

I obviously jinxed myself! I hear the little one padding around upstairs. Momentarily there will be the thudding of footsteps on the stair and requests for milk and weetabix.

Do they make automated child-feeders? I've seen the cat bowls that dispense a set amount at a set time. Surely there's a fortune to be made in something similar that dispenses frosted mini-wheats.

I will state that we discussed this at the mexican restaurant and decided, doughnut sammiches = FAIL.

Bacon is good on most everything but as a BLT between krispy kreme, no thanks.

Lake Placid has the training center where they ski jump into a pool. THAT I'd try. As long as Otter isn't in the woods with a BB gun.
