Nonstop ticket price varies based on "Nonstop flights only" option
Trying to price a ticket from DFW to EWR departing 5/31 and returning 6/1.
If "Nonstop flights only" is selected, price starts at $1313.
If "Nonstop flights only" is NOT selected, price starts at $1230 for the same nonstop flights.
I could replicate this repeatedly.

Yep, I've seen that one before. Old bug. I never check that nonstop box because odds are I'll get screwed on the fare.

This is not a bug. The $1230 price is only available if you pick a connecting flight on the return. If you pick non-stops both ways the ticket is still a $1313 M fare.

When booking a Copa flight on co.com, O class lists as 'First' even though it is really Economy.

if i select "search nearby airports", it comes up with that there are flights that are considerably cheaper at other airports, but when i select that airport to depart/return from, the cheaper fare is not listed. this has happened on several occasions. for example, try EWR-FRA from October 1-4.

LGA, BDL, ALB, PHL show a much cheaper base fare on the 'Select Nearby Airport' chart but the final price is higher.
Interestingly EF and ITA show a base EWR/LGA-FRA S fare at $374 the rest in taxes ($320YQ)
I believe, depending on which airport it is, co.com just calculates the base fare with some of the taxes and other times without - the end price is about the same.
Whether my explanation is correct or not, it is a bit misleading

FWIW - co.com has been down for about 30 minutes. I get a gateway error.

Use FF Miles for Pets
I'd love to see if CO could figure out a way to use FF miles to pay for In-Cabin pets. Figure 7500 miles should do it??
Any thoughts?

Thanks CO Insider for the list of things we'd like to see - well, you're missing a big one!
Recently (6/1) CO stopped giving free upgrades on the Lima-EWR route claiming they were moving all planes to "Business First". So even with seat available there at check in there is no longer a chance of an upgrade.
So, Sunday night I am on this route - and there were 8 seats available in BF. We asked about this at check in and I have to say I loved the answer:
"Sorry, they are for employees on standby"
This translates to me as "screw you for your loyalty and paying for your seat, we're giving it away free"
I have to say that over the years I have been flying Continental I have seen a consistent decline in the quality of benefits.
US airlines have always been behind any international carrier in terms of service (free drinks in coach is just one example, that's standard on any European or Asian major carrier) but I can't help but think it's race to the bottom.
Giving away seats for free while paying elite passengers are travelling just seems way wrong to me.
BTW here's another one - bring back the "Elite Twice as Fast" limited time programs you did last year!!!!
Lastly - I am praying the merger with UA is stopped, this will be a disaster for anyone who flies.
Removes competition, increases prices - exactly where is the upside to the travelling public?
Oh wait, see the above - CO no longer cares about their travelling public.

The companies remain in business. That is a pretty good up-side.
