Co.com needs to update their airport maps(ie. SFO still has America West on it yet that airline has merged, IAH map needs to show location of new Presidents club and move northwest over to the A terminal).

OLCI problems continue

I recieved no OLCI email today for tomorrows flight (started itin yesterday), I went to my account --> View/Change Seats and I am presented the following message:

! Since the departure of flight CO314 is within 24 hours, you can only view your seat assignment(s) at this time. If your flight is eligible for online check-in, you may change your seats when you check in on continental.com no less than one hour before departure.

Oddly before starting this itinerary I was sent the email at the 23 hour mark, not the 24 hour mark. If it matters I am EUAd on the 3 remaining legs of this trip.

Going to the home page and entering the confo# it allows me to check-in, I am seq# 1 for two early flights tomorrow. That in itself is odd considering the flight it 23.5 hours out, usually by this time I am seq# 3-10 at this time of check-in

Like many other folks I too am seeing problems trying to get seat assignments to stick. In some cases, they eventually take after multiple tries in some cases it just doesn't work at all.

On a different note, i have a reservation for a flight on AF and one on EK (both codeshares). The trip is EWR-CDG-DXB-LGW-IAH-SFO. On my itinerary page, it shows no connect time in CDG for the flight to DXB. But on the way back it does show all the different connect times. Both ways it was booked as a connection and not seperate flights, so it should show connect time.

In a bit more playing around with the seat issue, i've noticed that if i select a seat and hit "Continue" it saves the preference. However, if I select a seat and then pick another flight along the top, it never saves that preference. Seems like you have to individually pick the seat and hit Continue. A bit annoying, but at least there is a work around.

Surprised a Chataqua Flight posted without me calling

Did CO fix this? I flew on the Chataqua 5+ hour flight LGA-CLE flight on Friday, amazingly it posted today...automatically without any calls to CO for the mileage credit.

Did CO finally fix the Chataqua milieage posting problem, has anyone else seen this happen recently? Or did I just get lucky?

Ugh, i'm still seeing problems booking a reward reservation.

I can pull up flights and it gives me the summary but when I go to ticket it I get: "Continental.com could not price your itinerary as the following flight(s) no longer have reward availability. Please modify your search criteria."

Is this still related to trying to book GN class like in the past or a new issue?

Scott: I've sent you the details.

Seat Changes Sort of Sticking

At OLCI I changed my FC seats. Later, when I looked at the booking online, the change doesn't show; the original seats show. I called CO and they see the changed seats in the reservation; no problem. I guess I will find out tomorrow if the rep is right or the site is. I'm betting (hoping) the rep is.

BOS listed twice in new lounge list

In:

All Lounges
SkyTeam and Affiliated Lounges
BusinessFirst

and Under "US" and "All" there are two entries for BOS, second is empty.

PC Club list is clean as BOS only lists once under US and All.

Odd one...

Checked in at a kiosk (4 of us travelling on same PNR). Couldn't find my OP card so swiped the credit card used to purchase the tickets. Only my ticket came up. Checked in then restarted with the PNR. The remaining three came up properly. [kudos, btw to HNL ground staff for getting our bags on the flight even though we missed the minimum checkin time due to a near misconnect.]

Checking my email, I find an eticket receipt for the other three emailed at the time I checked in the other 3 using the PNR. I'm not on the receipt, just them... and the amount is correct for the 3.

I am not able to pull up the receipt on past reservations (co.com), and the reservation (past) shows only myself, not the other three travelers. Oddly, there is an additional "not ticketed" entry under past reservations for the 4 of us, but no details or receipt available.

Scott: I can pm you any details (although I believe you already have the PNR from an unrelated issue).

Seat Selection

If you change seat assignment from seatmap on co.com, then select the next segment - the changed seat will not hold. Only the last change before "continue" will change. Other segments go back to original seat.

Thus, you need to change the seat assignment for one segment, then "continue", the go back to seatmap for the next segment and repeat the "continue", etc.

Previously, selecting the next segment tab, would change the seat.

This issue has been around for some time. On a four segment RT - when you look at seat maps - the last two (return) segments will jump to different flights if you move between segments and between coach and FC.

Poor co.com support, understanding, rude agents.

Talked to three different co.com support folks, got 3 differents responses, so much fun

I'm trying to check for reward travel availability from AUS-GRB using CO.com. In the past I would get several 3 segment CO flights routing thru IAH and DTW. I also would get AUS-MSP-GRB. Over the past week I am unable to get the AUS-MSP-GRB (NWA) flights. All flight show first class easypass only. I do not get any economy, or even standard first class. I did some testing by trying AUS-MSP and got my usual two direct NWA flight with standard economy available. I then try MSP-GRB and get my usual MSP-GRB standard economy. So I decide to do further testing and do a multi-city run, AUS-MSP-MSP-GRB out, GRB-MSP-MSP-AUS but get open jaw violation. I am careful to enter dates/times to not cause issue. One co.com agent said I can't book MSP-GRB on co.com because it's an airline that is an NWA partner, not a CO partner. I ask why then can I do an MSP-GRB flight and also ask why I get first class when doing AUS-GRB. She had no reply. I called co.com support, one agent said the seats were available and would pass my info to their programmers.

At least I know I can call and get a standard economy to GRB when I need it.

When booking a reservation for my gf, who is a Silver, I can't assign seats for her. It automatically gives me elite seats, but won't let me change them during the reservation process. Once I've made the res, I can go back and change the seats without any issue though.
