Automatic redeposit on waitlist expiration... not.
The automatic expiration of the upgrade waitlist (domestic series "o") seems to be working (albeit a few minutes early), but not the promised automatic redeposit of miles.
This is the text in the email:
The first segment not upgraded was 6/12. The last 6/15. As of today, no redeposit (sent an email to [email protected] today).
This is the text in the email:
Will Mileage be Redeposited?
If we are unable to upgrade any of your flights for this direction of travel, any miles deducted will be automatically credited back to the account from which they were withdrawn. In some cases, mileage will also be redeposited for partially upgraded itineraries. For specific details go to continental.com.

No Aeroflot Bonus listed among FF programs in traveler's information
SU is a full SkyTeam member for quite some time now. However, it's not a choice to be put on a reservation as a FF number on co.com.
Can this be fixed please?

Awards including a virgin atlantic codeshare in economy show up as "(G) Upper Class". I can see the confusion- G is a continental reward class in Y, but a paid J class on VS.
It should say (G) Economy, though.

Reward Tickets in BF when viewed in manage accounts say "First", not "BusinesFirst"
I was viewing 3 reward travel reservations I have and all are partially waitlisted. In "Home --> Manage Reservations --> View Current Reservation" the upgraded and waitlisted segments display a class of "First" instead of "BusinessFirst" as they should be for the International Segments. Two trips are to Lisbon, one to Dublin.

Reticketing a previously canceled itinerary
I havent followed this whole thread but I thought I share my experience today with reticketing a previously canceled itinerary on CO.com. I had canceled a RT LAX-IAH-ATL flight that cost $436.60. I wanted to reticket the itinerary to LAS-IAH-MSY on 7/9 and return 7/14 MSY-IAH-LAX. I went into my account and pulled up the canceled itinerary and clicked on Change Flights. I then was given the screen to select which segment I wanted to change and I checked off all four original segments.
I plugged in the new itinerary for each segment, i.e. LAS-IAH 7/9/2007 Economy, IAH-MSY 7/9/2007 Economy, MSY-IAH 7/14/2007 Economy, and IAH-LAX 7/14/2007 Economy.
CO.com searched for flights and brought up the flights to select from. However, instead of seeing LAS-IAH (as one would expect since it broke up all the segments) or LAS-IAH-MSY, I was only showed IAH-MSY flights. So playing along, I selected one of the IAH-MSY flights and then was showed return flights on 7/14 only IAH-LAX flights. Now seeing that it only pulled up flights from the second and fourth segments, I went back to the Change Flights screen and entered in the second segment LAS-MSY 7/9/2007 Economy and in the fourth segment MSY-LAX 7/14/2007 Economy, all the while not modifying segments one and three. Interestingly, I was given proper flights to choose from, LAS-IAH-MSY on 7/9, I selected my desired flight, then it showed the MSY-IAH-LAX on 7/14 flights. I selected my desired return flight and it showed me the price difference of about $332 which included the $100 change fee. My reissued ticket cost was now $436.60 (original ticket) plus $232 fare difference = $668.60 plus 100 change fee for a total of $768.60.
Im thinking that this reticketing feature may actually work so I clicked on purchase, however, I got the usual error message that there was a technical error and the transaction could not be completed. Oh well, I thought it was worth a try.
About a half hour later, I was checking email and I received a CO eTicket email. I looked at it and the purchase actually went through but at a higher price. The total ticket was $912.10 plus the $100 change fee. Arrrggghh. I went to my CO.com account and the receipt showed that LAS-IAH was A class, IAH-MSY was W class, MSY-IAH was A class and IAH-LAX was U class. Dont know how it got A fares when I wanted economy. I went back to reservations and plugged in the same itinerary and it returned N and W fares for the outbound and Q fares for both return flights.
Anyway, Scott, if I havent made you fall asleep yet
, just sharing.

pda.continental.com - more olci issues
1. TMO Dash WM6: checked in outbound this AM on desktop. Tonight, tried to check in the return. Got the question about already checked in or now available for checkin... no matter which item I selected, I only got the checkin page for my already checked in outbound flight. It was not possible to check in for the return. [Worked fine when I got home, and already AU so didn't care so much.]
2. RIM BB 7290 Cingular: OLCI - after entering OP#, connection refused by checkin.continental.com:80. Repeatedly... On the TMO Dash, kept getting error #1.
3. Question: on the list of itineraries (RIM BB) (btw, that's fixed now), why is one future trip listed as a, "circle" vs. the standard "round trip" that I see for others?

OLCI rejected for all segments when next is within 1 hour.
When flying multiple segments in a day, it is not possible to check in or review any segment when the next one is within 1 hour.

Trip Alerts not working for CHQ flights
I have observed that trip alerts (eligible for OLCI, delayed/cancelled flights) do not work for COEx flights operated by CHQ. Neither email or calls are coming through. They do work fine, however, for ExpressJet flights.
Also, the status of CHQ flights do not appear correctly on CO.com. A message to call Continental isn't really helpful
Has this been reported previously? Is there a fix in the works?
Thanks!

Trip Alerts - fail after cancel/rebook
Last alert was the cancellation. Called - was already moved to an earlier flight then-scheduled to depart around when my original flight was (with the AU - great work). However, after that, no more trip alerts despite a number of further delays.
(I can PM details if it would help).

pda vs. co.com show different equipment for same flight
checking bos-ewr flights, for several, pda.continental.com showed a 737-700, co.com showed 735. Oddly, pda was prophetic as there was an equipment change to the 73g.

Phone res itin messed up
I called the elite desk to change a cancelled res (wish this could be done online). After some delay the friendly agent was able to do it just fine, but the new res (same PNR) is a bit messed up.
I cannot change seats for the 2nd flight.
The aircraft for the 2nd (return: jfk-iah) is listed as a 735, but it's a 73G (reflected in the seat map and in the schedule).
The meal shows "None" but should be "Snack"
The flight duration is blank.
This is an open jaw r/t.

Making new reservation: Clicking in date field brings calendar up, but selecting date from calendar does not populate date field. It is necessary to click on the calendar ICON and select the date when the calendar pops up to get the date field populated. This used to work properly.
