Have Passport, Will Travel..for Work!
Hi Everyone,
Based out of NYC, I'm an ex-financial analyst seeking out my next opportunity. I previously worked at Lehman Brothers in front office credit (in a group that managed the firm's leverage loan portfolio) and middle office sales & trading support. Aside from finance, I Love International travel, photography, tennis, and good food & wine (from the super-expensive to the finger-lickin' good hole in the wall!) Of course to fund these pursuits, I need to get back into the game. I know management consultants travel the most on the job, and I'm certainly looking to get into that field for the future. I would love to build up experience that will get me there (B-school is one prerequisite which I'm working on). I'm keeping my options open (even if its not a heavy wall street/finance role) and if a role requires heavy travel, put me on the next flight out! I am definitely a seasoned traveler with stories to match - I have roughed it as well enjoyed the finer aspects of jetting around. Will happily give more personal & professional details to serious replies only, just PM me. Regards, B |

Seeking position for MBA with experience
Hi there,
I'm an MBA marketing/finance in Massachusetts with 5 years management/marketing experience. Looking for my next opportunity, ideally one that involves travel and progressive responsibility in either management or marketing. I am bilingual (fluent in Spanish), and have a broad range of increasingly complex experience. I am glad to discuss more personal and professional information with serious replies. Best, David |
Seeking to change fields with more travel
Hi Flyertalkers,
I have been in my current job as an IT security/technical support engineer for the past ten years. It seems that every year I found another reason to stay at my current job, but I'm finally ready to make a change. My current job offers 0% travel and I'm really looking to branch out into a different field in 2010, using the customer service skills I've picked up here. I have a bachelor's degree in International Business and would really like to put it to good use. I have international travel experience and would ultimately like to find a job that takes me overseas several times a year. I am currently based in the Washington, DC area. I do realize that this post is quite vague, but you never know! I would love to hear from any FlyerTalk members that may have an open position at their company, or just hear from people who may have some advice for someone in my situation. Regards, Alan |

Looking for IT work
I was laid off in November 2008 and am STILL looking for work -- but that didn't stop me from reaching AA Executive Platinum on my own this year!!
Now that I'm back there -- without a job that calls for travel and running out of cash, I find myself wondering... What now? If you know of an job that has travel (I'm a very skilled I/T tech with D/R, I/T Auditing and Systems Security backgrounds), please, please let me know! Thanks! - Chaz |

Hi,
I'm looking for a career change and would be interested in hearing from anybody who may have something available. I'm 25, have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems and have been working for a major defense contractor for the past 3 1/2 years (since I graduated college). Currently, I'm a Software Engineer with knowledge in many OO programming languages, but am looking to branch out into another area besides writing code. I've got a lot of knowledge in various other technical areas including network administration, systems design and integration, etc. I'd be interested in Telecommuting, Travel or relocation (currently live in Upstate NY) for the right opportunity. Please PM me if you think you may have something that may interest me. Thanks a lot! |
Just a reminder - to help everyone looking at the thread, please use 'hiring' if you have a job opportunity for people and 'seeking' if you are looking for an opportunity in the post title.
