Looking for opportunities in the SF Bay Area
After nearly a ten year career with AT&T, I voluntarily left in August of last year to follow my partner to Lexington, KY in order to pursue a career as a Professor of Japanese language. As my partner has now accepted a tenure track position in San Francisco for Fall 2009, I now find myself returning to the Bay area where I lived and worked for seventeen years.
My last position was in the West Coast Office of the CEO as a Manager responsible for executive level escalations as well as escalations related to State and Federal regulatory issues. In addition to prior executive level customer service experience, I also had previous positions with AT&T in business collections as well as print and online media advertising sales (top performer). I also have prior retail as well as hotel and restaurant management experience, and am interested in any opportunity that matches my qualifications and career background. Of course as a long time member of Flyertalk and a recovering mileage run addict, I am indeed willing to travel :) . |
I am one of the top guys for a real estate investment company based out of New Jersey (our holdings are in 5 states). After being with the company for 9 years, I'm starting to look for a change in scenery. I am one of the top 3 there and have been involved with pretty much every facet of the residental and investment real estate
I have no issues with traveling upto 100% and willing to relocate for the right offer. |

I'm going to start looking for a temporary position in Brisbane, Queensland starting August and going through the end of December. If anyone knows of anything available, please advise! I'm currently working in Business Development in Sydney, but have a degree in Information Systems and would love to do something in the IT field. thanks, --Russ |

Seeking:Need a job.
Hi all, Last week both my wife and I were laid off. I used to travel around the country and world fixing machines. Now I have over 500k miles and can't use them. I figure this is a good site to network with others that do jobs similar as mine. So I'm reaching out to the road warriors out there. If anyone knows of any companies that could use a Field service technician with 8 years experience, please feel free to respond to this thread or PM me. As we are both out of work (and about to lose our house), relocation is possible. Thank you

Competitours- a new company that features team travel competition as vacation, is seeking a Europe-based amatuer videographer to shadow a few of our teams as they accomplish surprise challenges during a secret itinerary of Europe July 29-Aug 5.

We will pick up their transport, meal and admissions costs. We just need the raw footage, there is no expectation of this person doing any editing or special effects. Seeking
I'm looking to move to Philadelphia to see about a girl. I have a Bachelor's from Arizona State University and post graduate experience of nearly three years in sales/marketing/customer service. I would like to find a mid-range salary job (~$40K) somewhere in the area. Transport won't be an issue. If anyone has any ideas I'd appreciate a PM. I'd love to work in government or education (not teaching though) but I am very flexible.

Seeking: Do you need a pilot
I am writing this on behalf of a friend. Much like a lot of people lately, newly- weds, new parents, new house......her job fell through. He is German, flew for the German Luftwaffe, and moved to Las Vegas just over a year ago. He is a corporate pilot, but due to the economy, is on call 24-7 and is not getting barely enough to cover mortgage ( no, they did not go above their means) the pay is just bad at the moment and she does not have a job. Fantastic couple, I really don't want to see them lose their house etc. If you are looking for a pilot (he flies learjets - will find out what kind if needed :D ) reasonable pay, or at least a set schedule so he can find a second job if needed.
Thanks for any information....... West coast preferred. |
Change in how to post!
Looking at this thread, it's a great resource, but we think it could be better.
It's not always immediately apparent what one is looking for - are you looking to be hired, or to hire someone? This can pretty easily be highlighted if you use a post title, as we did on this one and put the word "Hiring" if you are looking to hire someone and "Seeking" if you are looking to be hired. I've edited a few of the previous posts so you'll see what we mean Jenbel, chrissxb, Cholula Communitybuzz! Moderators |
