Please count me in. This is the first happy hour I'm actually in town for -- and its even in VA.

Looking forward to meeting other FlyerTalk'ers.

I'll be at Rockbottom at around 5:30 if anyone else cares to arrive early...wearing a yellow BB button0up with the patch in a funny place...

How late do people plan on hanging around. I can make it around 8:15-8:30, but don't know whether to bother.

Hey guys,

Last night was pretty fun-- glad to see that a number of poeple could make it. Again, we had out-of-town representation-- and we always welcome newcomers.

Tentative planning for next month:

Wed. Jan. 22
7:00pm
Location in DC TBA..... at the request of kokonutz, somewhere with live entertainment. We'll see what we can do.

Of course we're always open to dancers in grass skirts, if you're so inclined, koko.

Yes, it was nice to meet people and I apologize for my "monetary indiscretion". I'll try to make up for it next time.

Any event with Viajero Joven aka "The Routemaster" is sure to be both informative and fun. I was just embarassed after talking so bad about CO back in Bethesda, and just a short month later I'm joining the CO ranks..

... you're joining CO just as I'm jumping ship...

Maybe I should work in marketing or something.

dlnewbie, you're very kind. I had a good time talking with everyone who came.

As I said, for the type of entertainment I am advocating, the next DC happy hour will have to be in Tampa or Las Vegas .

KoKo- do you have '2001' ideas for a good time? Perhaps you would like to have 'Mons' of fun?
I guess I missed the conversation on Wed., but I can only imagine.

Koko, I think that Masha might be able to give us some directions to places with all kinds of fun entertainment, where she knows the folks who provide the entertainment.

Sorry I missed you guys last night. I decided to goose my income by working overtime last night. This job, low paid though it may be, has its benefits. Who knew that helping women try on clothes could be so much fun?
