For February's meeting, we need to go to Ben Baldanza's class:

Are any of you actually thinking of signing up for the class?

Some details for people who don't click the link:

2 1-evening classes:

Modern Board Games on Feb. 4 from 7-10pm-- course GI-719
New Games for 2 Players on Feb. 11. from 7-10pm-- course GI-720

Both classes given at the Washington-Lee School campus site for Arlington Adult Education. Address is 1300 N. Quincy St.-- close to the Orange Line at Ballston.

Fee is $50 per person per class, or $38 for Arlington residents. $10-$12 less for seniors.

Another idea:

Brochure says they're looking for people to teach "qualified and innovative" instructors with a "unique talent, skill, or idea for a class".

Think it would make an impact by teaching a Mileage Run 101 course: How to Be a Cockroach??

Sounds good. I like Rock Bottom. The later starting time is better.

For those who are unfamiliar with the Ballston Mall, there is garage parking. I think it costs $1 for the evening after 6 pm.

I'm going to try to make it to this one, too.

I'm not sure if the promotion is still running, but the Ballston Rock Bottom used to offer $1 pints Wednesday afternoons and evenings until 9:00pm.

Would like to drop in on one of these gatherings in the new year. I plan to be in DC from Feb 4th through 10th, so not sure if this timing will fit the normal cycle of monthly dates. Will check in early next year to see what is planned for February.

Shareholder, how about a Cockroach Board Game class on Feb. 4th?

jwright, we'll be glad to have you. Ballston is conveniently located on the Metro Orange line.
