Sounds like an 'afternoon' start...
Wine rack 101 training begins at noon and is ongoing throughout the day.

Sous chefs arrive 1'ish, snackage out by 3, dinner somewhere between 5 & 6. Dessert whenever people are ready. Wine & other (adult & otherwise beverages) flowing until the last person cries "Uncle"!!!!!!

Hint, wine will be flowing as the first sous chef arrives and anyone can volunteer to be a sous chef.

I just thought I would mention that I spent last Saturday in ANC, and it was one of the most amazing trips I have ever taken. I definitely hope I can make it for at least part of this DO, and I'm sure I'll go on other trips there too

A slew of saver space has just been loaded for DUT flights (well 2 per flight with 4 flights daily) if anyone has been sitting on the fence about going

Thanks for the alert! Went online to change my itin and I was able to reclaim 10K miles!

@CDKing: Sorry to bail on you, but I am now booked on 3298, ANC-DUT, with most of the group. You should join in!

Due to flight schedule changes, manual assistance is required on this reservation. Call Alaska Airlines at 1-800-ALASKAAIR (1-800-252-7522) at your earliest convenience.

On both my reservations. I dont want to call when the B team is working ,If there is space when i wake up ill call in and change.

I received the same error, though the agent said there was no schedule change. He cleared it out and I was able to rebook after refreshing the reservation. I'd say calling the B team is worth it if you can get some miles back..

Waaaay back when I booked this trip, I could get ANC-DUT using Delta miles but not DUT-ANC. So I bought a return ticket the old-fashioned way, using money: $599! I hoped that award space might open up eventually, and, sure enough, it just did. So I bought a frequent-flyer ticket through Delta and cancelled the revenue ticket through Alaska. My flights and times are still the same.

Interestingly, when I called Alaska to cancel the revenue ticket, we discovered that the outbound flight was ticketed but never confirmed. I had to call Delta to clear up the problem. Looks like all is well now, but other folks who booked through Delta might want to call Alaska to be sure that their reservations are set up correctly. Mine wasn't! (But it is now.)

I should have stayed up as space is gone now. At least I don't have to compete for the best seats. Ill accept the schedule change later so next time space opens up i can rebook online

I am looking to decide on the trip. Any news on the pre-Dutch harbor portion?

I'd like to put down a vote for Valdez. I have been to Denali twice in previous DOs. Would be nice to mix it up, especially since I have heard some nice thing about Valdez.
