Chase Private Clients may be pre-approved for better or different offers, it's worth asking your banker.

My math says a 50K offer. Where do the extra points come from?
The extra 5000 points come from adding an authorized user after you have been approved for the card.
no longer available

Is there a business card?
Yes, and Flyertalk has a thread devoted to the business card: United business card currently offering 30K miles: United MP Business card: public offer now 50K miles!!

Can I apply for this card and earn the bonus after doing so previously?
How long should I wait between canceling a card and then reapplying?
What's the Chase "5/24" policy I keep hearing about?
Now that I've completed the required spend, when will my signup bonus post?

See the wiki and related discussion in Applying for Chase Credit Cards, 2017 onward

Where can I find an online copy of the guide to the card's benefits (such as purchase protection, car rental CDW coverage, etc.)?
Go to https://www.chasebenefits.com/unitedVW4

A few of the best features of the card include priority boarding, a free checked bag, and increased award ticket availability. Priority boarding and the free checked bag for cardholders is included even on the new "basic economy" fares.

For discussion of Mileage Plus benefits, see the master thread in the United forum, found here: United MileagePlus Master Wiki

In the past, after cancelling the card, I was still able to use my UC pass up until the expiration date.

I have one expiring in a month. I tried using it today and they showed me on the computer that it was declined and has been cancelled. They said that if I have cancelled my card, then the benefits are cancelled too.
I used the other one successfully 3mo ago with no issue at the same UC.
I cancelled my card nearly a year ago.

I was recently upgraded from Y to F on a standard award ticket IAH -> PUJ which is an international trip (F no BF). I assume that was because of my Explorer card. I cannot think of any other reason other than I am a 1K and F was wide open. Would I also be upgraded IAH-> GRU from Y to J on an award ticket if I used the same card for fees/taxes?

what you received is a complimentary premier upgrade on an award ticket, a benefit of the Explorer card.

https://www.united.com/ual/en/us/fly...des-types.html

Punta Cana is in Central America and thus available for complimentary premier upgrades.

Flights to GRU don’t offer complimentary premier upgrades.

If Chase doesn't waive the fee, of what worth is the card?

Best Chase MP Explorer Card bonus offer

I'm thinking about applying for the Explorer card.

n the airport recently I saw a sign-up bonus offer of 70,000 miles. The highest I've seen before is 80,000 miles a few years ago, so it seems 70,000 miles is a pretty good offer. I didn't write down any offer code however.

When I go online now, I only see 40,000 mile offers. Is there a code to get the better offer, and what's the best available offer right now?

You must enter the 6-character promotional code you received from your United representative in order to be eligible for the extra miles associated with this offer. If you do not have a code, please enter 999999 to indicate that you do not have a promotional code. I guess this is for an additional 2500 miles if you have the GA or FA's code.

Is this 70K offer legit? Chase website shows 40K offer.

Yes, its back. DoC also mentions it: https://www.doctorofcredit.com/chase...-signup-bonus/

I saw a banner ad in my UA MP account too... sadly my two year churn timeout only ends in June

Banner on my UA MP account shows 50K offer. 70K is probably targeted.
