What's the difference between the Ink Bold & Ink Plus cards?
Ink Bold is no longer available. It was a charge card (pay balance in full each month), but it has been discontinued and many accounts were converted to Ink Plus cards with the same account numbers.

Ink Plus is a revolving credit card. It allows you to earn and redeem Chase Ultimate Rewards points (including transfering UR points to air/hotel/rail partners).
What are the best current Ink Plus offers?

The Ink Plus card is no longer available for new applicants. There is a separate thread for The Ink Business Preferred card.

Links for non-targeted Ink Plus 60K offer ($5,000 spend/3 months; annual $95 fee not waived)
There is a report of a 70k offer for the Chase Ink Plus available only through your local Chase Bank office, extended to August 20, 2016. If you recently accepted the 60K offer, you may be able to get the extra 10K simply by asking for it.

There is a no-fee, UR-earning Ink Cash card: https://creditcards.chase.com/ink-bu.../ink-cash-card

Are there special earning categories?
Yes. You earn 5 points per dollar on the first $50,000 spent annually at office supply stores, and on cellular phone, landline, internet, and cable TV services. (Sirius XM Radio also qualifies.)

In addition, you earn 2 points per dollar on the first $50,000 spent annually at gas stations and for hotel accommodations when purchased directly from the hotel.

NOT ALL Ink cards earn the 5x and 2x bonus categories above. Not "Old Ink Bold" that earns 7,500 bonus points for $25,000 spend, 15,000 points for $50,000, and 25,000 points for $100,000 spend.

Where can I find the Ink Plus Guide to Benefits?
What are the rules for transferring UR points to other users or to my own air/hotel/rail accounts?
Closing Ink Plus cards
It is possible to pay the annual fee for the Chase Ink Plus business card, then close the account and get a refund of the fee up to 6 months after it was charged. This provides a total of 18 months of earning up to 5X points for free. Make sure your points are transferred out (either to another UR account owned by you or a spouse, or to an air/hotel partner) before you close the account.

Yes, just use your SS number.

The Ink Plus is no longer offered so no more 5x points if you don't already have the card.

False, Ink Cash also earns 5x on office supplies.

How long after opening a business checking account with Chase have people seen pre-approved offers for business cards show up?

Ya, the Ink Cash has the lower limit, but would fit my needs (at least right now :P) well. Does the online applications ask for revenues or business size or anything? Or just use a SS number instead of a tax id number?

I don't need any other Chase business accounts first, do I? (IE Bank Account or something...)

False, Ink Cash earns 5% cash back which is not the same as 5x points.

"Earn 5% cash back on the first $25,000 spent in combined purchases at office supply stores and on cellular phone, landline, internet and cable TV services each account anniversary year."

If you don't have one of the premium Chase cards in your name such as CSR, CSP, Ink Preferred, et al, then yeah, it's cash back. But if you link your Ink Cash with one of those UR Premium cards, then you can convert that cash back into UR points. Thus, 5x.

That's how I understand it and that's how I've seen it explained at places like TPG.

You need to do more research on the Chase UR system before posting things like this.

What I posted was accurate because you can't get the 5x points from the Ink Cash unless you transfer it to another premium Chase card, which not everyone will have. It's like saying Ink Cash will give you United miles. It won't unless you have another UR premium card and an United account and go through the double transfer process. All requirements must be met for it to happen. Maybe my initial post was too basic of an answer. So it's really a yes and no answer.

No, what you posted was inaccurate: the Ink Cash does indeed earn 5x UR points, but you claimed that it's only 5% cash. 5 UR points are not 5 cents; they're something different and potentially more valuable.

There's no disagreement that how one can use UR is highly variable depending on the cards one holds. But that isn't what you said, and your statement was thus both incorrect and misleading.

Chase markets Freedom, Freedom Unlimited and INK Cash as "cash rewards" cards, but they do not earn cash, they earn Ultimate Rewards points. UR points earned with any card can be redeemed for cash, but that's optional and the points can be redeemed for a variety of rewards. (The ability to transfer to airline or hotel partners requires a premium card.)

I received an email invitation today for the Ink Preffered w/ 80k UR bonus. It says "As a valued Chase business client, we invite you to be one of the first to apply for the NEW Ink Business PreferredSM Credit Card. This offer is available until March 21, 2017."

I'm well over 5/24. I assume I'd likely be denied as this isn't the same as an in-branch pre-approval, correct?

I would bet my money on that conclusion.

I got that same email and I'm also well over 5/24. I'm sure we'd get denied but I might apply anyway.

Just go into branch and check for pre-approval like I did. It's not that difficult.
