If you feel your account has been unfairly closed, consider filing a complaint with the Consumer Protection Financial Bureau:

CFPB's complaint form: http://www.consumerfinance.gov/complaint/

When someone reports an account closure here, a lot of the same questions get asked. It might be useful to answer some questions in advance. This could help figure out what happened or how to proceed:
  1. Did you transfer UR points to someone with a different address? Different last name?
  2. Did you sell UR points to someone?
  3. Approximately what percentage of your charges earned less than 5x points in the past 12 months?
  4. Did a Chase or non-Chase bank recently close one of your credit cards?
  5. Are you using up a large percentage of your credit line on all Chase and non-Chase credit cards?
  6. Is your total credit line with Chase much higher than with other banks?
  7. Did you apply for many credit cards or other forms of credit in the past 2 months? ("Many" may be hard to define.)
  8. If you have a Chase checking account how much did you typically deposit in money orders per month, if any?
  9. Did you recently start spending a lot more with Chase than in typical months?
  10. Is your monthly balance frequently close to your credit limit?
  11. Approximately what percentage of spending was on gift cards this year?
  12. How much of your bill do you typically pay using WM or KMart bill payment if any?
  13. Do you have a Chase mortgage or other account that might be profitable to Chase?
  14. Has your credit score or credit profile changed recently? As in: significantly more debt, more open credit lines, or a large drop in your credit score?

Isn't online gambling using Las Vegas casinos LEGAL for Nevada residents ?

Why would you be using Canada ?

There are numerous online gambling sites accepting Nevada residents that are in the state, the U.S., and offshore. Residents of Nevada have plethora of internet gambling to choose from since it was legalized. The online gambling sites we suggest to Nevada residents are as elite as the real casinos of Las Vegas. Our recommended online gambling sites are secure, licensed, and accept Nevada residents.

OP has probably set off every AML, anti-fraud and illegal gaming (yes, Internet gaming is illegal even if you live in Nevada) warning flag that exists. Being fired by Chase and not being able to obtain credit for the conceiveable future are the least of his worries.

Banks measure risk and they get rid of customers where the risk exceeds the benefit.

Online gambling within Nevada for Nevada residents was legalized a year or so ago

Is online gambling legal in the state of Nevada?

Online gambling was recently legalized in Nevada and you must meet the age requirements to legally gamble online in the state. The state offers state regulates online casinos, sportsbooks, and poker sites. Offshore gambling sites are available in addition to the state gambling sites, are legal, and accept Nevada residents.

Why do you need so many credit cards? It doesn't appear that you are doing it for the bonus airline miles.

Wait! I thought the TPG and the others offered "free credit card suggestions" and the payoff was giving you the referral links to use. I didn't realize they charge for the service. Holy Moly... a paid consultant should have definitely suggested that you take it easy... I think the usual suggestion is one biz/one personal card per issuer, every 90 days. This has evolved a bit since the olden days, but is still pretty sound advice.

Can you elaborate on each of the red flag behaviors I exhibited?

WSOP which is a licensed by the state of Nevada as an online legal poker site for residents of Nevada and NJ accepts credit cards.

Those credit card laws were established years ago to make it harder to gamble illegally offshore.

http://www.wsop.com/lp/n2017v/?sr=11...m_medium=niche

http://www.wsop.com/online-poker/index-nj.asp

Persons located outside of the State of New Jersey and Nevada, at the time of their activity, may not use the Services for real money play.

If you have already downloaded and installed the WSOP.com software, you can upgrade to a real money account by doing the following. Go to the Cashier in the lobby and click 'deposit'. This will bring up the Cashier screen. In a column along the left side of the Cashier you will see a few payment options.

You will receive an authorization that your credit card request has been successfully granted. You are now ready for real money play and will see a balance of real money in your account. See the Lobby screen for all the games you will be able to join.

On top of that, these charges are going through actual companies so don't know why you brought up SIC codes.

FURTHERMORE, I have spoken with Chase and the reasons I was closed were not gambling related:
-Rapid increase in revolving balances
-Too many requests for credit reviews

I should have read more but I still can't find a good articles/guides on proper etiquette for this game you guys are pros in. I guess my mistakes were applying for too many credit cards in too short a time frame but then I see all these guys doing 8/65/73s and doing card churning with 5 banks simultaneously so it was hard not to splurge.
You need to spend a little more time reading the thread in this forum...It is all here at your fingertips on FT, but for Gods sake do not hire a points coach...what a waste of $ and you see where it got you

Yes we do, however we typically do 5 cards at 5 different banks (I very very seldom ever do more than 1 personal and 1 business per bank within a 3 month timeframe)...if you had followed this pattern then you would have likely had no problems at all.

Ok thanks! At this point if you were in my shoes what would you do over the next 6 months (this question applies to everyone)?

This!

Any prudent bank would shut you down whenever it does an Account Review.

You applied 11 cards in 2 months... Is this your hired "point coach" encouraged you to do? Wow.

Rapid request of credit in very short period of time with charges on online gambling... The bank just makes the worst case assumption in its risk assessment model and decide to cut the risk.

While many ppl brought up online gambling, and applying for new cards too fast. Both are valid points and I concurred with both. But I see a third red flag - it is asking for a human review while you have "skeletons" in the closets. The scenario probably went like this:

You: I need a manager to expedite my UR and SW points.
Manager: I have a request to expedite UR and SW points. This is not very common. Let me see what I can do for this person and why he/she need these points so fast.
Manager: This is odd, this person applied for so many cards in such a short time. Does his income sustain so much more credit line? Let me see what type of charges he has. Holy smoke, he has quite a bit of gambling charges. I can see some red flags already and let me forward his/her file to the fraud department.
Fraud department: This person pose a credit risk to Chase. We decided to close the accounts.

There is a saying in flyertalk that slow and steady wins the race. Unfortunately, you were probably too aggressive. It's ok to do that in poker but it's not very prudent in the CC game. I also must add that if you really paid for a points coach and he/she told you to do what you did, then he is not a very good coach.

In regards to credit cards? Absolutely nothing

Spend that time reading FT
