My 2 cents after back to back aria suite flight
Lack of storage is true Tv is way too big I have to sit as far back as possible to watch comfortably. Maybe great for doing spread sheet or finding wally Tight entrance to suite Leg space is not as good as current offering Basically just not a very practical seat I do like the toilet availability on tv n the updated toilets Ambience n design vibe are nice |

Ill say I definitely prefer Aria as a work desk for a short haul flight to any of the other J products. Upgraded tech, clever location for charger, new geometry of the side table, the natural design of this seat whereby you get more table/desk space at the shoulder level. I also prefer the main table sliding in and out, and CXs doesn't appear to be too flimsy like other carriers (we'll see if this holds up with time). That said the TV is enormous... for watching landings and takeoffs, amazing. I also think the TV will be pretty good if you're sleeping. I'm not much of a TV watcher on board so I'll defer to the poster above observation. Foot space a clear victim. 2nd flight i was tired and tried to nap. I couldn't 100pct stretch out with my shoes on, and I'm not exactly tall, 178cm. Shoes off it works for me but definitely tight. Some beam support for the TV or tray table underneath in footwell space, also blocks a little bit of the aisle side footwell, further reducing your space in there. This product is definitely best described as an evolution on what's out there not revolutionary. The name is beyond silly. But I do think CX did a nice job with all the accents and custom design. The best improvements IMO are the tech which seems standard upgrade these days (fast USB charging both types, Bluetooth connectivity to TV, etc.) It seems CX has also already moved to address broken door issues between my first and second flight. They have put a new red tape thing over the red handle, which says "for emergency use only". Apparently a lot of people (me included on my first flight!) were pulling that, which actually somehow lets the door off the track or something. My desk/side table thing again didn't retract properly. A few other people on my flight seemed to have a similar issue. I believe these will get resolved in due order. I think overall, the teething issues probably aren't too bad |

I agree SIN should be the next but it really depends on how the retrofit work goes. Seems the second aircraft is not ready yet. Booked a trip to SIN late Dec and it is still showing the 77K config.

They will retrofit some of the 77As first because they need to reduce the first class services, then they will retrofit 77Ks later.

I really don't understand this logic.. Why wouldn't they just upgrade the 77K's first.. It seems they have enough flight crew to sustain the current roster of first class flights between JFK, LAX, LHR, CDG and HND... By doing the 77A's first, they will be forced to reduce the frequency of first class to those destinations sooner rather than later..
