I think you'll find they are getting literally bombarded with calls from GGLers wishing to use their special redemption and try and get on (already packed out) flights to/from popular destinations (such as CPT) for next Christmas/New Year.

Age Requirements?
Does anyone know if the GGL is open to all. From what I gather it is UK based BAEC only, but what about age requirements (assuming household account)?
Also, does anyone know of any plans to formalise the entry/ renewal conditions - ie publish them on their website or is it still on trial? Thanks.

So is this totally based on TPs?
Does the CCI (or whatever it's called) have no impact? I've hovered around the 96 level for the last year or so, but I'm a lowly Swiss member so I guess British Airways don't love me....
On a more serious note, when can I expect serious attention from special services at LHR when I'm flying in F with BA? I flew in F 3 times with them last week and the SS ladies seemed to be paying particular attention to some passengers in the LHR lounges while totally ignoring others (ie me!).

Once you are GGL, you can ask for SS assistance.

I was as surprised as anyone - taken a few flights in F (maybe 10) during the year and a few club europe flights as well.
But what does 96 get me? Certainly no help when things get screwed up
What's a boy to do to get decent treatment from BA?

If you have >2 years >3000 TPs, you will be offered Euro-GGL sooner or later. Then you should see your CIV go up.
And then you will get help when things get screwed up.

So far no sign of GGL in Germany - perhaps too late for me anyway as I have nearly given up on BA. I have been >3.000 in the last years but this year I stopped after collecting my GUF2 voucher at 2.000 TPs. Too many screw up for me at LHR this year... I will give T5 a try to see if it really does all get better immediately

When does the invitation get triggered?
Does anyone know, does the invite get triggered when you hit 3k TPs for the second consecutive year, or does it come at the end of the membership year? Also, does it come by email, mail or what?
Many thanks!

Mine (without GGL) hovers around 70, although I suspect it will be going up soon as I am travelling almost every day for the next fortnight...
