Looks like only 1 out of the 3 starters and mains have alcohol? Still 2 out of 3 choices available for people avoiding alcohol?
Brandy infused lobster sauce with the cod sounds nice. Not sure how much brandy would be in it though!

If that menu to MLE is representative of the general ex-LHR menu for January, it looks a cut above before (beef fillet, lobster albeit in a sauce)

Yes I thought this and paused if it was because MLE is a premium heavy route. However, the ex-LGW menu above also looked an improvement so fingers crossed though I will reserve judgement until someone posts a exLHR East Coast menu.

Two different cauliflower courses on the LGW - CUN posted above? What’s with all the cauliflower?

BA268 LAX to LHR on 6 January

I wasn’t that hungry on departure so just went for soup and the bread & butter pudding (both very good). I indulged more at breakfast time!

Menu also applies to BA272, 280 & 282

… Agreed – the flavour may linger, but most of the alcohol will have been cooked off.

Does anyone know if the west coast to LHR menu is the same for all flights in that region? I'm flying LAS-LHR on BA274 next week and am curious whether it will be the same as the LAX-LHR in post #23 above?

I think the main meal (dinner) would be the same, as well as the breakfast meal. It depends on the length of LAS-LHR. If it falls into the shorter category (e.g. DEN, SEA, YVR, ORD etc.) breakfast would be a sandwich of some sort, not a Full English etc. Same goes for westbound, with the same lunch but a simpler afternoon tea or more elaborate pre-arrival meal on the longer sectors.

There would be no alcohol in it as you flame it off during the cooking process.

BA249 LHR> GIG this week

The menu is identical to the LHR-MLE service further up the thread.

I had the trout starter

very fresh and tasty

For dinner I opted for the fish - despite it not being presented the best , and it was on the small size. It was delicious - possibly one of the nicest meals I’ve had on BA as it was very flavoursome. I had the red pinot noir wine to accompany - this was also very good.

For Dessert I opted for the cherry tart - again lovely.

Flight left on time, crew were very good and priority bag was first off the carousel. The BA gods were smiling down at me.
