The ba.com home page just shows a message saying I don't have permission to proceed further 😂

Fortunately if you call, their systems are slow but working.

Same here. I have been offered a translation from German though.

No matter their claim that it's fixed both on X or in other media, I am completely unable to access even the homepage labelled with error 403, no permissions etc.

It's not fixed. I cannot check in for my LGW-FAO tomorrow.

I also cannot cancel Mrs Tafflyer's flight who can no longer travel. In fact, for the GBP 16 refund I'd get, I'll probably just check her in and no-show her. More likely that the seat next to me remains empty that way.

They did Email me especially to inform me to get to the airport early though, in case there's disruption due to storm Isha. I thought, yeah, exactly what you need, everybody getting to the airport early when there's disruption. Do these people never travel themselves?

1705hrs 20/01/24: Unable to check in for a flight to/from LHR to DUB for tomorrow.

App & website keeps giving web error 403, or telling me there is an error with passbook when on the app.

Similar here in Canada. I tried to go to BA's Canadian site where I get 'Error 403 - You don't have enough permissions to proceed further' (also in 5 other languages).

I changed my VPN to UK and logged into BA's UK site. This worked for a while and then froze.

I deleted my BA cookies, killed and restarted the browser (Safari) and now could check in.

One day BA's IT will work. Probably not in any of our lifetimes sadly.

Didn't the last capital markets presentation promise major investment for IT and digitalisation ?

Every time during this sale that I have tried to book flights the website has been down or buggy. I assume the work around is google flights, and then call in to book?

Why does BA make it so hard for customers? They must be losing a considerable amount of bookings as people give up.

Trying to book via BA Holidays.
Silly me for assuming the website would be capable of handling such an unusual request.

Well they just lost mine Off to EasyJet I go. The website works every time without fail. Never any stress.

same here... (web and app). I must remember this when I respond to 'did you experience any difficulties with your booking' when I do the questionnaire... .
