Finally got reward flights sorted to Cancun next August, in economy (having gone last 2 years in upper on VS) as this is the new "densified" seat layout are there any extra leg room seats other than the bulk head (all of which are closed off) and exits in row 32 which they want £68 each for? I'm 6'7 so guessing i'll just have to take the hit.

Hi all
Apologies if this has already been covered above. I'm on the 777 service from LHR-MAD tomorrow and am currently booked into seat 10A. Seatguru seems to show this as a misaligned window, but BA source doesn't. Anyone know which is correct?
Also is anyone able to check flight loads please and hazard a guess at whether the first cabin will be in use?
Thanks in advance, Andrew

December 15th I’ll be taking BA297 LHR-ORD, what appears to be 4 class 777, 48 in J.

Which seats have direct aisle access - is it row 15 only, or any other preferred options?

Yes, on that plane, only row 15 has direct aisle access from the window and middle seats.

I'm glad this thread has surfaced as I was just searching for it.

I'll be on HND-LHR in First next year, as a pair, which is an all-day flight, in essence.

The cabin is totally open and I'm trying to decide whether there are any distinct or nuanced benefits to selecting a particular middle pair of seats.

Detailed advice appreciated. We're trying to sit away from the assigned baby bassinet seat in the instance of, well, a might-be-better-behaved-than-adults-but-might-not-be bambino.

Cheers

A long time since I've been in the back of the boat on a 777-200 (17F config). On BA.com, 22 is showing as exit row--does 22D actually have any better legroom than other Y seats?
Thanks!

22D is not an exit seat or does it have more legroom.

I asked a similar question for a (LGW) 777 and was advised to go for 2E and 2F -I've no comment as we haven't flown yet so don't know if that helps ! The main reasoning given was that galley noise and forward the toilet can be annoying if you are sat in 1E and 1F.

Seat 10A on 4-class 777 in Club World has a “misaligned window” according to seat guru.

I can’t seem to find a photo of this to see how much of an issue this is.

Can anyone help?

Best to ignore seatguru. See post 331 in this thread

thebasource.com is much better for BA seatmaps

On the 4 class Gatwick birds (showing as a refurbed one at present) , in WTP do the middle seats have bassinet positions? 3 + a baby travelling so ideally would sit all together in the center but doesn't appear so ....

BA 777 3-Class - Family Seat Question

Hi folks,

Long time lurker, first time poster.

I've just booked BA CW flights for my family next year (day flight). I've always avoided CW but only option that makes sense on this route (LON - SJO). I have a question about seat layouts in the 777 layout (identified as v1 on Seat Guru, rows 1-5 then rows 10-11).

We want at least one window seat and we all still want to feel "together" for the flight. What I've currently got booked is 2GJK with that idea that my wife and I will be on G/K and my daughter sat in the middle of the 3 of us on the aisle on J.

Are all these 3 seats actually "in-line" with each other or is my daughetr in 2J going to be staggered away from 2G? What I'm hoping for is that my daughter in 2G can easily converse with whoever is in both 2J and 2K (unless she pulls the divider up on me...).

The cabin (apart from 1A) is completely empty at the moment so happy for any other recommendations. Wanted to distance us from basinet, toilets and galleys which doesn't leave many options. Did consider doing centre seats and an aisle but considering we want to flank my daughter one on each side I'm not sure that's any better than what we have. Any other suggestions also welcome.

If an equipment change means we get stuck on a 777 rather than A380, what's best for the night flight? 1a/e or 1e/f?
Thanks
