Have travelled in both seats. I did not notice much difference between them and as you have said one window in 5K compared to two at 6K. Twice I have travelled in 5K and both times the doors on the suite had an issue!!!

15 and 16K on 77H

Hi
Normally travel in the mini cabin or first few rows in the main cabin but our flight from LHR-JFK has been cancelled and we have been rebooked on a 4 class 77W with Clubsuite. And so we lost our 5A and 6A seats and now put in 15 and 16K. Never sat that far back before.
Any experience from anyone of views out of these seats since over wing?

Our 1st ever long haul trip - please help with seat selection

Greetings - newbie here so please excuse me for any mistakes. My wife and I recently retired and our beloved dog crossed the rainbow bridge, thus freeing us up to start our international travels. Our first is from Alaska to London via Seattle (JNU-SEA-LHR). We are on flight 52 SEA-LHR on September 2. The return is on flight 49 on September 18. It looks like we are on 777-200 on both flights. We are wondering what seats we should get. We have never flown a long haul like this (only transcons in the US). Do the seat areas have walls that can be removed to talk to your neighbor or are you in a cubby the entire time? If me wife takes a window (A) and I take the adjacent aisle (E) would we be able to talk to each other (without it being a bother to others)? Same question if we take the two center (E&F). Here are the seating charts. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

If you want to chat, choose the middle seats. Even they are not the easiest to chat with each other but it is way better than A and E options.

Thank you. Any hints as to what rows are better or worse than others?

The first map looks lile the 787-10. Second 777-200

If you need to talk then choose the middle seats. As the seat map above, the window and aisle seats are offset. On balance choose the forward cabin like you have done.

On the second map, I'd select 7E&F in the smaller, quieter cabin.

77M F

My spouse and I were booked LAX-LHR in F in seats 3EF, but an aircraft configuration change has us in a 77W with only two rows (8 seats) in F. Not sure if this is a 77M or if that's a 772. At any rate, both sets of center seats are taken, but all four window seats are currently open. Any advantage to row 1 vs row 2? Are these the old 77W F seats, just fewer of them and some new fabrics?

Any issue with row 7 being right in front of the galley?

Row 32 LGW777

Just had a look at my BA booking for LGW-Aruba & return later this year. Have booked row 32 & 33 for the extra legroom, but the seat plan on the BA app looks strange.

From Aerolopa it looks like the LGW 777s are 77S/77T.

However on the 77S row 33ABC is the exit row, but the 77T it's row 32ABC that's the exit row.

We are seemingly booked a 77T out and a 77S back.

Is this a seat gamble, as 32ABC doesn't exist on a 77S? So if they substitute the plane those booked in missing seats get split up and shoved all over the plane?

thanks for your input. On the first May, row 5 or row 7? Which do you recommend?

Do you mean first map? If so - there really isn't much difference, except you'll likely get served first in row 5.

I am looking at the bulkhead row 20 in PE on the 77M, and I only want either 20A or 20K, which are the best seats in the cabin but they are both blocked. Are these blocked for people with infants due to the bassinets? Why don't they block one of the duos AB or JK instead? When are these released?

It's always been the case 20 A and K are not bookable in advance as they are bassinet seats and reserved for booking by passengers with an infant. If you try at T-72 hours onwards they might be available but if not keep trying very regularly including at online check in and don't print/download your BP for your original seat. Good luck!
