Window view in 2K is better as it's unobstructed by the wing. Plus it's in Club while 12K is in WTP. Gold members can't chuck anyone out of any seat.

It's my first time booking a new CWS seat much in advance (I've only flown it once when it was an AUP so there wasn't much choice). I'll be on the 77H. This is in Jan, returning after Christmas holidays (SFO-LHR).
I would like a window seat. And something quiet as I have enough trouble sleeping. 80% of the seats are free (only 5/6A, 8K, and a few other seats taken). I'm OWE, so no booking fee. I had currently selected 5K as I like the idea of being n the bulkhead (is it a true bulkhead?), but now I've seen the Aerolopa map it looks like 5K is missing a window.
What seats would people recommend? First priority is footspace. I sort of like being on the side with the larger handicap accessible bathroom for any pajama changes for the overnight flight (but not a big deal). And I want to be towards the front to make it off faster, but would be willing to give that up if a particular seat had more footspace. I definitely want a window that I actually have a view out of (land/water - so the over wing seats are not ideal).
6K is available? As is 8A. There is someone booked in 8K that looks like it might be a bassinet. Any recommendations?
Also, for food service, someone mentioned they serve first based on priority. This makes more sense as last time I flew I couldn't understand the order at all. I was OW Sapphire last time, but now Emerald. How does OW status line up with BA status? I assume highest BA people get priority, but where would OWE status be in the lineup? I ask because I want to get my dinner as fast as I can and then get to sleep. Plus I usually wakeup early and want to get on with my breakfast so I can get cleaned up after with enough time before landing (it always feels like the breakfast is a bit rushed before landing IMO).
Thanks in advance!

Hi all,
Travelling to the Maldives in January from Heathrow on a converted 777W. Travelling with my wife and nearly 2 year old in J.
We have currently booked 6k and 7k but having flown on an AA 777W to and from LAX last week in their mini cabin, I couldn't believe how loud the noise was coming from the ceiling. Sounded like a fan or some sorts.
I assume all 777 have this.
On the outbound which Is a night flight. I am keen to find a couple of seats that are really quiet so the little man has the best chance at sleeping.
Would you advise I move to the middle of the main cabin on the outbound?
Not so fussed coming home as it's a full day flight.
Cheers

Thought I'd post for reference, as this thread answered my own questions about seating within the 77W/77H seating plan mini cabin. Pic of the window placement for 5K (and identical in 5A) - seats where you truly are in your own little world.

Folks, I'm in a 777M in the next month. Currently in 8K. Nothing else is available in the mini cabin area. Where as every seat is free in the bigger cabin.
How is the seat? Anyone got a picture?
Should I move to the bigger cabin?

I know there should be a way I should be able to look this up but I am having a blank moment. Could some kind soul check what type of aircraft is operating SEA LHR BA48 on 1st Nov. It was a 787 when booked but it seems it's been subbed to a 777. Thanks.

Alternatively you can get 5 searches on Expertflyer for free IIRC.
At the moment its showing as a 77M (as per the Wiki seating layout)
Incidentally here is what's showing on Expertflyer.

77M. I can tell because of the row numbers for WTP. Check again on Sunday afternoon / Monday morning based on the LHR-SEA leg, since there is a firmer allocation to equipment at that point.

On a 77H to CPT next year. I had 5A booked, but a better date came up, so I swapped to a different flight. Only seat in mini cabin was 7E, so I’ve taken that. Ideally I’d have liked a window, but is any seat in mini cabin better than in the larger ones?

Hi all, we are due to go to JFK from Heathrow with BA next month and were originally on a different plane where we had booked twin seat 36a and b. They emailed to say its a different plane and had given us new seats in a row of 3 but we wanted twin seats so have changed to 50 j and k but they now just say window and middle and not window and aisle like the others did - can anyone tell me if these are definitely twin seats or can BA add another on that row? Any advice appreciated - I have looked for pictures/videos but cannot find any online excuse all the tabs opened!! I tried to add screenshot but it wouldnt let me as I am new.

Hi all,
I'm flying out to JFK in World Traveller next week. The seat map currently shows a 777-300 and I'm currently in 53A right at the back in a two on the left hand side - traveling solo.
Does anyone have any experience of this seat? It's a day flight and felt I could recline and perhaps get some work done on the laptop? I have seen a couple of red marks indicating lack of recline and bother from the loos/galley.
Is this correct? Would I be better off somewhere else (apart from Club! ).
I've only flown in PE with BA before to/from SAN on a 350 and to/from ORD on a 380 so a bit new to the game! I'm a bronze member if that helps.
Many thanks in advance. It is appreciated 👍

Hi, just wondering if you were in these seat and if you can let me know how they were as I think we may be travelling on a similar flight - thanks
