What date are you travelling, the IKA route doesn't normally see a 3 class B777?

Yep, that's the one! Flight is BA153 on Apr 8
From what I see my best best would be to book 18 or 19 A/C and hope for the middle seat to remain blocked if the flight is not full.
I know BA does that on short hauls for OW Elites, is it the same on long haul? I fly BA a lot in Europe but my last long haul on a BA 777 was in 2012.

747 Seating
I'm travelling to NYC on 04/02/17 at 8.20am and returning on 09/02/17 at 20.10pm, as far as I can work out we have a 747 according to BA site, it appears to be the double decker version with just rows 39-55, now I have read that these have been refurbished, will the WT section be the new cabin too?
Does it have any at seat power, we've booked the 2 seater in Row 53?

As a Gold and with all seats open apart from 28K what seat is recommended on this 777 configuration? I presume row 28 is a bulkhead? Is 29C unlimited legroom like it looks? Many thanks

I can tell by looking it is a 777-300 and that's right there is a bulkhead IIRC.
29C and H are unlimited but I'd go for the K side as the crew tend to predominantly use the A side more. (confirmed by CIHY and certainly mirror my experiences in Y)
A very good seat and I've been there before, not on this but a similar LGW longhaul 777 (200)
29H!! ^

Hi all,
My wife and I will be flying BA59 LHR-CPT, which appears to be operated by the 74J configuration. Here is what the seatmap currently looks like:
I am oneworld Emerald (Executive Platinum on AA), so I should have complimentary access to all seats, including exit rows. We are currently booked in 51B and C, but I was considering moving to 40B/C. How much extra legroom is in row 40? How noisy does it tend to be next to the galley?
51 will be nice as it is a private pair of seats, but extra legroom would be nice - my wife is 5'5" tall (165 cm) and I am 5'11" (180 cm), so we are trying to weigh our options. Any feedback would be appreciated!
