I'm no expert but I suspect it was a consequence of a cold front moving up from the south meeting the warmer air which we had been experiencing. Not long after the picture was taken eight hours of thunderstorms and rain started. I've seen this cloud pattern here quite a few times but this one was especially nice.

Got in from nights at 0200 then up at 0430 for my train to Aberdeen and now on the 0752 East Coast service to KingsX.

England v Estonia tonight at Wembley then AY tomorrow to VNO via HEL FOR England v Lithuania on Monday. With Scotland now unable to qualify I'm sitting happy at how much cheaper the flights to France next year will be!

Ha! Certainly one way to look at it! Enjoy the match, im heading to a brewery, boy is with granny and grandpa for the night so a rare night getting the wife drunk. I may take pen and paper and get written permission for iron maiden concerts, FT dos and a tp run or two chucked in. Time for a GLA xmas do me thinks, take on all the office crowds at their own game. Oh wait....

Currently at HEL having a few glasses of wine before my flight to MAN.

This is the last flight currently in my schedule... I can't remember the last time that happened.

Nothing planned, not even holidays.
