no problems with avios and bonus posting here and I applied for my card in February, first points posted in March.
Hubby who applied for his card in November had to chase like everyone else, but strangely enough just got a 10K bunus post today on his 4th statement

Just had my wife accepted with a £5k credit limit. Should cover holiday in May plus Easter and indeed anything we do over the Jubilee long weekend, plus an ipad 3!

As compensation for previous issues, or is this what you due?

All of your avios earnings are leaving me with the feeling of missing out. I know I was excepted for this card 8 weeks ago (as a Lloyds current account holder I was informed i was excepted should I wish to apply), however since then I have taken out the PC Black Visa. I have always left at least 6 months between taking out CC products.

Also.. what would be the paypal fee's in sending my friend a few £k?

PayPal fees are 3.4% plus 20p, or thereabouts. Bear in mind if your friend gives you the money back in cash/cheque/etc., it's a breach of PayPal and Lloyds T&Cs...

What if his friend also has a LTSBPDA and sends the money to another mate with a LTSBPDA then they send it back to pazza2000?, rinse and repeat etc etc

Congrats on the 1000th post to the LTSBPDA thread by the way pazza2000 ^

I called Lloyds today to ask when I could expect my 10k bonus sign up Avios, having signed up in December. They asked if I've ever had a Lloyds TSB credit card before. I said I had but that I'd cancelled it over 10 years ago.

They gave me some nonsense excuse stating that short of a name change I wouldn't qualify for the sign up bonus because (at some point in my life) I had previously held a credit card with Lloyds and the T&Cs of this promotion excluded it.

What's that about?

You got an idiot on the phone!

The 10k's should post on your 4th statement.

If you can be bothered, call back and register a complaint saying you have read the terms and conditions and can't find anything that disqualifies you from the offer and you would like someone more senior to look at it as you believe you have been given wrong info over the phone.

Then you will get a very apologetic complaints handler calling you back and offering you £25 statement credit, not to mention the £25 refund on the card fee you are due anyway.

Absolutely. PayPal have twice in the past suspended my account for completely legitimate transactions. Has anyone ever tried actually contacting them? P-A-I-N-F-U-L.

God only knows what they do to you if you're doing anything remotely shifty.
