My personal feeling is always take the window seat if I can and so always do. Since it is me and the wife travelling together mostly and she doesn’t like anyone climbing over her, generally go for 1AB or JK, even though I have to jump over someone to get out of my seat.

Im traveling in a group of four on return flights to US. A380 Club World outbound and 777 Club Suite inbound.
The flights were booked using Avios. So if I decide to cancel due to Covid concerns, my loss is only 35 per ticket.
Id like to book some seats, especially on the A380, where aisle access can be restricted by other passengers. But Im reluctant to commit another 800 to 1000.
The good thing about the 777 Club Suite, is that there does not seem to be any really bad seats. So other than being sat next to or close to each other, Im not that bothered where we sit.

I booked the flights about a week ago.
So they are not even covered by my annual insurance policy, because they were booked when FCO were advising against non-essential travel to the USA.
If and when the FCO advice changes, I may need to look at getting another insurance policy.

Having missed one holiday in March, and looking likely to miss another in October, I've hedged my bets and booked LHR-DXB next May! Given the possible demise of first class in the future that keeps being written about, I have booked first on what looks to be the 777-200 ER (BA107/BA104) as there are only two rows available to reserve: 1&2?
As this is hopefully my 'first first' (unless BA ditch it before next May), and possibly my last if the class is gradually retired, I hope to make the most of it and love the idea of booking 1A, however is row 2 a better option due to proximity to loos and kitchen?

Economy Seating - 777
Hi everyone,
Apologies if this has been covered already, but I am having trouble finding this seat map or any advice on any of the usual sites.
I am (due to be) flying MCO-LHR, and will be in economy 😫
the seat map is showing economy from row 25 - however none of the seat maps I can find show this exact format. I wa a just wondering if anyone knows what configuration this is, and what row 25 would be like - it looks to be a bulkhead with no toilets /galley?
Being a night flight, and being tall, I am just hoping to choose a quiet seat with good leg room to make it as bearable as possible!
Any Advice would be much appreciated

After Malaysia extended its entry policy for non-nationals, I've rebooked to Maldives (think it's BA16 and BA60).
However, its 777-200 is showing 8x F seats. Presumably just a refitted aircraft? This wouldn't be a Club Suite aircraft (as that would suffice for overnight travel and Avios savings)?

A night flight from Orlando in Economy with all those screaming kids sitting 10 abreast. Good luck with that. If you're planning on sleeping I would definitely recommend a Zopiclone sleeping pill and a stiff drink or two.

yes - a few stiff drinks will definitely be part of the plan! It was very cheap, and we know well have to put grin and bear!

[QUOTE=Chrisnichols;32646835]I haven't seen any for that particular configuration. The BA source hasn't added in any of the newer configurations for a while, which understandably is a bit annoying.

I have just booked HKG in WTP. This shows 40 seats starting in row 31. No corresponding seat maps in BA or Source. If it is a 777 with new club suites then maybe go for an upgrade at least one way. Can anyone confirm this config?

I found a seat plan on EF for MCO/LHR in November. The overall plan is similar to the old 3-class (48J/24W/203Y) seat plan as shown on ba.com, and on BA source. The club suites section comes a little further back than CW (which went to row 11), and WTP is now 5 rows instead of 3, leaving a shorter front WT cabin, as you see on the plan for your booking, of 5 rows. The bulkhead in front of WT is just a divider. All the lavatories (and doors!) are in the same place, as per the seat map you show.
