Both 4A and 4K have a missing window. The window blank isn’t a BA modification, it forms part of the manufacturer’s design

It's not a total blank out though: the next window along is at head level, but the seating structure takes out most of the view.

Hi I've had my LHR-JFK return flights swapped from 747 to 4class 777 with Club Suite. We've been given seats 5+6 A outbound and 5+6K return. Are these worth keeping? I've read some reviews that say they're good?
Also does row 5 only have 1 window?

My guess is a refurbished 77W (or one of the new delivery 77Ws) with Club Suite, although the rear cabin on that seat map looks like an error. When are you travelling?

My flight from SAN to LHR in April has been changed from a 747 to a 777. The seat layout shows four abreast seating in row numbers 2 to 14.
I'm assuming it is a 3 class layout as it is not possible to book First Class on that flight.
Any ideas if it is a 200 or a 300?

Am flying on BA0059 next June. The 747 has been changed to what I think is a 772 as it is showing as 3 class, but there is a message above the seat selection box saying:
Club world - Front cabinYou are selecting a flatbed seat at the front of the aircraft which was previously our First cabin and is now sold as Club World. Some elements of the product and service may differ between the First and Club World cabins.
Also looks like it is going to be the old CW rather than CS. Does anyone know if the flight really is full so that the first 4 rows are fully booked, or are they just blocked out for any reason? Also of the seats that are available, is there any plus points to either row 5, 10 or 11. We're a couple traveling together. Row 5 and 11 in A/B or J/K looked appealing as presumably the window seats have direct aisle access?
Thanks

It's definitely the usual Club World seating, not CS. Without the exact date I can't tell you if it is full upfront. WIth these options I would go for 11J/K, since the otherside will get a blast of African sun in the hours before arrival. As things stand, and given what we know, I think there is a 50% chance there will be no flights to CPT for the next year.
Also has anyone seen the message "Club world - Front cabinYou are selecting a flatbed seat at the front of the aircraft which was previously our First cabin and is now sold as Club World. Some elements of the product and service may differ between the First and Club World cabins."
The seat map doesn't look like First so not sure what it means.

Date is 2 June 2021. And yeah I am wondering whether to change the flight. It is for our honeymoon from a wedding we had to move this year! If we get a vaccine then things could change quickly but SA has been hit hard. Will prob see how things develop over the coming months before deciding.

Hi all, booked to MCO in J in June 21. For 3 adults (myself, my partner and a friend), would we be just as well to book 3 centre seats either row 2 or 3 DEF or would going in AB&D work.
Not travelled on the 777 in J, is there a slight offset between the sides and the centre which would make this sub-optimal?
Thanks

I find the middle seats too cosy which is fine for overnight with your partner but for day, feels a bit too cocooned. Also both EF passengers on row 2 will have to climb over someone to get out. This is mitigated on the last row of J which has direct aisle access for all three of you if you go DEF, although E is classed as the bassinet seat, so you could be moved if passenger with baby gets booked on your flight.
ABD will work but it is harder for A and D to chat easily although whoever is in A gets a window seat.
Take your pick.

Depends on how much you want to talk to each other and which variant of the 777 you are on. I am assuming you are on the LGW-MCO and so advising on the LGW variant of the 777.

Between the 3 of us, we aren't too worried. The Avgeek in me would want the window. The bassinet is blocked at the moment but we'll keep an eye on it.
Many thanks
