I fancy a window seat and a view so I was planning to take A / E / F / K seats across the cabin with the kids in the middle. I currently have row 2 booked. Any reason to change that beyond perhaps moving a couple of rows closer to door 2 for easier disembarkation?
Im not sure when your flight is, but as far as I know (per the wiki) there is only one 3 class 772 that has been refurbished with CS. I am trying to find out if they are still continuing with these updates or are holding off until travel rebounds.

Help please re J class seats on 3 class 777 CPT return

Hi there, I have booked BA059 on 25 December, returning BA042 on 11 Jan in Club. Its a 777L layout, and shows a split Business Class cabin 1 to 7 and 10 to 14. I can see it’s the Club Suites seats, thank goodness. It does say something about being in the previous first class cabin, but it’s clearly the Club Suite layout so I don’t know why it bothers to tell you that? I have reserved 1A and 2A on the outbound and 1k and 2k for the return, as it’s the very front, but I generally think you get better service in a smaller cabin which in this case would be the rear section, so don’t know whether I should book row 10 instead? However you then get everyone trailing past you to board the rear of the aircraft, but I guess that is only boarding, not for the next 11 hours! I suppose no aircraft is traveling full at the moment, but it will (hopefully) be full next Xmas/New Year, so has anyone travelled on this during peak season to comment on which cabin it’s better to be at the front of? First world problems I know, as I am sure all the Suites are pretty much the same, and so much better than the previous ghastly layout, but the tickets are not cheap and as I have booked them so far in advance I want to be sure I get the best seat choice. Tia for any advice!

Is it possible to tell from the seat map or BA.com whether you are on one of the 4 aircraft with the new First Suites?

It should show as 77W as the aircraft type on MMB. On the website itself, its more difficult as it just shows as a 8 seat cabin in F similar to the reconfigured 4 class 777-200ER. The J cabin is the main indicator as the aircraft with the new F seat has 76 seats.

Thanks. I wish ba.com would show more granular fleet info!

Indeed. Surprisingly they specify the A321neo (instead of listing it as A321 jet) when looking at the flight details.

Hi for 77W (=77H please correct me if I am wrong) - where are the bassinet seats in Club Suites? My Choose Your Seat has the baby seats in 19A and 19K, but when I call up they tell me differently (they say row 5 and row 8). Can anyone who has been on a place confirm?

Personally I think it would be 19A and 19K on 77W, not from first hand recollection but from the way it works on A350 and the build involved. Unless this is a flight next week I'm not sure it's worth planning around this too much, the amount of equipment swapping is insane and will get more so.

They are in 8K, 19A, 19K

Rule of thumb for club suites seems to be, front row windows in the rear club cabin - in this case because of the number of club seats there is a third one in 8K

For the 77H, bassinets shown on BA's MMB seat map are at 19A/19K only

Yes, but I'm persuaded by islandadventurer's post which I suspect has come from direct observation. Given such a huge CW, 2 seems too few. I seem to recall something similar on the A350 in the early days, they didn't have the bassinets all in place for a few weeks.

Thanks! Very curious why on the phone he said row 5 & 8.... since it's free seat choice with a baby, might as well utilise it correctly. And if plane changes so be it I guess. Now to persuade BA CS...

Hello all,
I'm due to be flying from DOH to LGW in Club World in a 77E. Does anyone have any seating advice for a solo traveller; ideally a window with aisle access?
I had a look on BA source but it's not working properly on my phone.

It's more likely to be a 77T or cancelled than 77E. What date do you have? But to answer the question as posed, 7A, but that's CS anyway.

As it would more than likely be a 32J LGW based 777, your only options for seats in CW with aisle access and windows would be 4A and 4K. However those seats have a misaligned window.
