Having missed one holiday in March, and looking likely to miss another in October, I've hedged my bets and booked LHR-DXB next May! Given the possible demise of first class in the future that keeps being written about, I have booked first on what looks to be the 777-200 ER (BA107/BA104) as there are only two rows available to reserve: 1&2?

As this is hopefully my 'first first' (unless BA ditch it before next May), and possibly my last if the class is gradually retired, I hope to make the most of it and love the idea of booking 1A, however is row 2 a better option due to proximity to loos and kitchen?
