I find if you get a 3rd or 4th night free that's when FHR bookings are REALLY valuable. The spa credit i don't find too valuable as that's more of an option during a stay so i wouldn't assign a value to it. The breakfast I would for sure.

Does the Aria have a resort fee because you'll get a $5.00 potentially off the resort fee per day (to cover wifi/internet) which is included in all FHR bookings.

For Bellagio,

Do I just charge everything to do room or do they provide vouchers? Also, were there any issues with the hotel accidentally billing the breakfast towards the $100 credit?

I had to go to the front desk for checkout to take care of the $100 credit. Issues with it at Bellagio and Delano, they fixed it immediately but it was annoying. Definitely something you should keep an eye on and yes charge everything to your room.

A simple phone call to the front desk is all that is needed. Your account will show $100 credit and they will apply it to any charges on your account minus tip.

Thank you

Amex will charge the first night plus tax. You will be charged 4 nights resort fee and the other two paid nights plus tax once you're there. I guess it's possible you won't be charged the resort fee on the free night but I wouldn't count on that.

I stayed at the Wynn in July and had the 3rd night free as part of a promo. The resort fee was also comp'ed that night too.

Do you know if in-room breakfast would be covered by Amex FHR deal too?

Yes, there's 7 places on the Encore/Wynn Complex that are eligible including room service in both Hotels. It's listed on the first page of this thread:

Also covers in-room breakfast.
Wynn
The Buffet - 8-11
Tableau - 7-11:30
Terrace Point Cafe - 6-11
In Room - 5-11

Encore
Lobby Bar and Cafe - 6-11
Jardin - 7-11:30
In Room - 5-11

Personally, i preferred Jardin as it overlooked the pool and the breakfast was pretty great.

Has anyone else had this experience with Bellagio? I'm looking at booking this fall and I'm wondering about how the automatic credit works now.

I'm going to stay at Bellagio from August 21st to 25th. I booked a fountain view room, but I wonder if i should get a resort room and hope they upgrade me to fountain view room? It's $30 different a night. I stayed at Bellagio mainly because of fountain view, by the way. Also will Wynn's $100 spa credit good toward Salon (hair cut, highlight..)?

Yes, the $100 credit can be used at the Salon. I had my haircut there last month and it was taken off the bill (the tip is excluded though. That stays on the room bill)

My rule of thumb for booking FHR rooms is to always book the room you want, or at least would be happy with. If you get an upgrade to a better room, then that's a bonus, but don't rely on that.

If you'll be unhappy without a fountain view, book a fountain view.

Thank you for your helpful information. I assume I can use Wynn's credit at Encore and vice versa?
