Update: I spent the $1,000 and can confirm that I received the 50,000 bonus points. A nice additional bonus is that I can still get $100 in credits at a designated airline. I plan to use it on an international flight coming up next month (Delta). Great bonuses for no fee during the first year !

I have a target offer for a 50K gold card.
I just signed up for the 100K plat offer.
Does AMEX ever offer a 75K on the personal Gold carrd or is 50K as high as it goes.
Trying to decide if I should just apply now or hold out until a better offer comes.

50k would be an exceptional offer for the standard Gold card, but it is a typical offer for Premier Rewards Gold.
There are higher offers for Business Rewards Gold, but I do not recall a report of a higher offer for the personal Gold cards. Premier Rewards Gold was refreshed in June, and they don't really need a higher offer because the directly competitive cards (Chase Sapphire Preferred and Citi Premier) offer 50,000 or fewer points.

I went ahead and locked up the 50K.
My friend just told me 10 minutes after I submitted that he had a 60K last year on the personal rewards gold.
Data point:
Instant approved on 100K personal plat. I called amex and told them I didnt have my RSVP code but have gotten multiple 100K offers in mail. (she looked up my info and found one)
Instant approved on 50k gold premier per website.
Can I get both the Gold card and the Premier Rewards Gold Card? Or do they consider these to be the same card?
