I also received a nice note from Hector Adler who I also reached out to who said that pre-departure services were discussed at great length at a meeting late last week. Let's hope things begin to improve and if not we continue to press the FA's to follow company policy.

@AmericanAir 08/18 AA123 ORG Limited #PDBServed

This allows all PDB service to be posted, good, bad, and otherwise. This should show AA that we feel this is a desired service. Maybe if someone gets energetic, a summary post could be done, maybe weekly?

If you're flying to Punta Cana and make it to F, the early flight (8:30AM) crew is great. LUS.

6/26 AA 846 PUJ - PHL Water or OJ due to Dominican laws. All alcohol served in DR must be purchased in DR.

AA 665 PHX -> CMH 6/28: FA brought out a tray of water, but as I was complaining to Mrs. Remedy, she came back and asked us (by name!) what we would like to drink. Two Bloody Marys please! Nice.

01 July AA 1509 BOS->MIA

Water tray offered with option for requests. Currently no second run during ops delay wait on taxi way. And of course, not one but two sets of Worlds Best Mommy and Daddy either took the upgrades or couldn't buy up for the rest of the family so we have kiddos running back and forth to economy. This will be a fun one.

I must mention, despite the play pen atmosphere, service from the MIA based crew was top notch. They hit all of the service elements, from hot towel to pre-arrival mint. Also beverages were never empty for the three hour flight. Almost worth the $2200 for two r/t F tickets LOL!

Cringed at that. Hopefully you at least got 757 equipment for that price. Ouch!

CAN CONFIRM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'

Roberto did a bang up job the entire flight including PDB. If all crews were this attentive and cheery, AA would be best product.

Presumably restricted because of customs due to the international departure.

I don't fly US airlines out of YYZ much, but I had a similar experience on UA Express.

Customs, taxes, blah blah blah.

At Republic, we have to lock our liquor kits prior to landing in Canada and the seal can't be removed until we are above 10000 feet. So, unfortunately, we are unable to serve any alcohol on the ground in Canada. Some flight attendants lock the entire cart leaving us access to only water and juice. Some of us make sure the alcohol is separate from the rest of the drinks prior to locking the kit.

Thanks for the first-hand knowledge! ^
