I also received a nice note from Hector Adler who I also reached out to who said that pre-departure services were discussed at great length at a meeting late last week. Let's hope things begin to improve and if not we continue to press the FA's to follow company policy.

@AmericanAir 08/18 AA123 ORG Limited #PDBServed

This allows all PDB service to be posted, good, bad, and otherwise. This should show AA that we feel this is a desired service. Maybe if someone gets energetic, a summary post could be done, maybe weekly?

5/21/17 CID-CLT AA#5096 - Another no. Even though we left 5 minutes early and this was obviously on a smaller plane (CR7 in this instance). Haven't gotten a PDB on quite a few AA flights in a row now.

5/25/17, AA #110 , LAX-ORD. Full PDB of choice with refills from Ramon, a Chicago-based FA handling first class cabin.

The outstanding service continued throughout the entire flight on this 2-month new a321 bird.

5/23 MIA-JFK AA# LAA 752 - Tray of water and OJ asked for an adult beverage and was accommodated.

In the air probably the most dreadful service I've received all year. Blind leading the blind.

Also, why can't MIA & JFK handle a 2L boarding on this aircraft?

5/24 JFK-MIA AA#65 LAA 763 - Tray of water and OJ...was on a call with my boss so couldn't ask for an adult beverage at that moment.

Beyond FABULOUS service in the air.

Recently flew GRI-DFW on an Eagle (Mesa) CR9. No PDB even though only 3 pax in F and we sat at the gate for 35 minutes after boarding was complete.

The prior flight (DFW-GRI) a few days before that had PDB, even though the flight was delayed and everyone was rushing to get us out ASAP.

On your Mesa flights, do you ever get drinks served in glass, even while in the air? I have yet to be served anything but plastic cups on Mesa-operated flights on the CR9.

5/29 DFW-CLT: PDB offered but FA said the plane was still being catered so it was limited to what she already had. Good service during the flight, including getting me a drink when she probably should have been sitting because of turbulence.

It's nice when people are sanguine like this about the whole picture, service-wise, in this context. ^

5/29 (L)AA 1522 SFO-ORD Full PDB on red eye flight. FA asked Y pax to stop. Good service.
