PDB in MCE
 

I was in the first row of Main Cabin Extra and was offered a pre-departure drink by a fantastic FA.

11/4 JFK-MEX: Nothing
11/7 MEX-MIA: Nothing
11/7 MIA-LGA: So this is a new one for me. All FC pax were given a pre-take off large 1L bottle of water. No other options, but kinda funny to see such large bottles given before departure.

11/3 MCO - MIA: full PDB
11/3 MIA - MSY: water & juice finally given out after everyone boarded (but they forgot me)

11/7 MSY - ORD: nothing, very lazy crew...
11/7 ORD - LHR: bubbles or juice, then we sat on the tarmac for an hour with nothing (I'm glad I re-filled my water bottle in the lounge)

11/11 AA 4004 DFW-MRY EMB-175: Full PDB
11/13 AA 542 DFW-RDU A-321: OJ or Water. Someone asked for Tito's and the FA said "if I give you one I'd have to give everyone one"

11/12 DCA-ORD 737 11/13 ORD-DCA 737 Full PBD both times with excellent service.

One note: on the return flight the "incoming flight" from DFW was running late to the point when it was landing a few minutes before we were going to take off. Yet the estimated departure time did not change. But to my great surprise, suddenly the incoming flight changed (to a flight from a different airport) and it had already landed. Somehow a crew turned up to fly us to DCA and we were off on time and landed early. Thank you AA!

But isn't that part of the service they are supposed to provide? To EVERYONE (at least in F). :D

11/23 AA2459 LAX-DFW
Water / OJ tray after boarding was complete. Nothing else available. Jacket was finally hung up during taxi after the safety briefing. Let’s see how the service will be once in the air.

11/18 DFW-HNL on AA115 in J. Nothing offered.

That really is inexcusable. With a separate J cabin and the amount of time it takes to get everyone on board, there should still be time for a PDB even if the flight is running late.

A couple of data points:

Nov 10 - AA 5120 DCA-MSY - Full PDB Service (great FA in the front - I wrote AA - she just had a great attitude)
Nov 13 - AA 607 MSY-CLT - Water only (but another great FA)
Nov 13 - AA 409 CLT-DCA - No PDB (late 10:30pm departure)

Nov 9 AA1643 DFW-MIA - PDB offered (A321) (mid-afternoon departure)
Nov 16 AA1825 MIA-DFW - PDB offered (788) (8am departure)

11/13 - SNA-ORD = after a 7 hour delay, no PDB (also no food service :mad:)
11/20 - ORD-SNA = No PDB (8:50am departure)

Were you expecting real glassware for a PDB?

Plastic is how it's always done (with the occasional exception of three-class transcon/INTL First).

Nothing PHL-PUJ even though we’ve been on the plane for 30 minutes. Not even a hello. Very strange.

In fact yelled at some people for still being on their phone after we left the gate 🙄. Still not even a smile. This is the worst crew I’ve ever experienced on any AA flight.
