10/2 SFO-JFK in F: No PDB (also no soup or lumbar pillow, etc.)
9/26 BOS-LAX in F: No PDB (also no second snack/cookie service) 9/24 SFO-JFK in J: PDB (but no headphones provisioned) The only cabin where AA manages any form of consistency is the one cabin where they don't have to provide anything. |
10/3 LAX-MCO: Open bar PDB
10/4 MCO-MIA: Open bar PDB Two great crews, particularly the latter. 8/9 on PDBs in the last 5 months. |
10/23 MCI-PHX: No PDB. FA's were surly and unfriendly the whole flight.
|
10/24 AA856 PHL-DFW No PDBs with 3 FA's chilling in the galley chatting during boarding
10/24 AA2698 DFW-ABQ No PDBs, either Got a survey for the first flight and definitely made it clear, especially with the current prices for paid J. |
10-16 MIA-BOG, asked and the FA told us that it is illegal to do this and showed us the manual.
10-19 MIA-SEA no PBD |
10/20 LGA-DFW full bar
10/20 DFW-MEX full bar 10/24 MEX-DFW full bar 10/24 DFW-LGA nothing First time getting actual pdbs (not just tray water) on non-flagship AA since covid (guess I’ve had bad luck). But in fairness, the crews on all three segments I had pdbs on were exceptional. The crew on the last Dfw-Lga l segment were pretty horrible (had to go to the galley to ask for water three times over the course of an hour until I actually got a glass), so seems logical there would be no pdb. |

Any of my PHX-Charlotte in J I get full bar PDB That was trips in July, August, Sept, and my last trip two weeks ago.
My PHX - DFW is hit or miss. Depends on whether I'm on a A321 or not. All my International Flights have PDBs. |
The rare clean sweep!

I think I'll throw in the towel and stick with my usual strategy of hanging out in the lounge and boarding at the last minute for these flights, because there is virtually always enough overhead space with the larger bins.
