DL is definitely not good at PDB service anymore. My rate on AA has been much higher.

Half the time the FAs even refuse to use glassware and instead use plastic cups. I've literally seen glasses in the FC galley carts and yet they're doing the regular beverage service with plastic.

That's funny. Recently on PHX-SJD "no alcohol PDB either end. Mexico law"

EXP100 Feb 19, 2023 9:02 am

PHX/DFW and DFW/MIA full PDB despite flight late and the F FA needing to swim against the unwashed, and largely unkempt, masses heading back to steerage.

Absolutely ridiculous and inexcusable for Flagship service.

If only they would bring back the 757s. I loved that mid cabin boarding door.

2-18
DEN-DFW 1pm PDB served but I was on row 8.
DFW-IAH - no PDB
IAH-DFW (same plane and crew) - no PDB. Also no snacks but they did bring out nuts when I asked about potato chips during flight.
DFW-DEN - nuts predistributed at each seat. PDBs in plastic cups. In flight drinks also plastic cups. Gingerbread cookies instead of snack basket offered

No idea about US but AA historically used L1 on the 57s to board and deplane. I never quite understood why they didn't use L2 like DL.

AA EXP DFW-LON Feb 19, 2023 2:23 pm

17 Feb DFW-JFK AA2423, no PDB

Love the creativity of certain FA’s at their ability to just come up with non-existent laws and regulations so they don’t have to do their job. It’s honestly quite impressive, ha!
