According to OMAAT, ORD is reopening April 21

I’m extremely annoyed as I booked a flight with AA through ORD on Apr 20 when it was reported it was going to be earlier. But you win some you lose some

Absolute most moronic agents of any AA lounge. Wouldnt believe a word they say. Whole bunch of new hire clueless employees..... Sadly though it doesnt look good. I am very bummed I dont get it with all the FF flights to JFK. Plus BOS & LHR. I know this has been discussed & debated. Just really bummed if we dont get FFD at my home airport.

Rep I talked to today regarding LAX dining reopening said “As of now, we don't have an exact date we can share, but we're working hard to open it as quickly as possible”.
Not sure what exactly they’re “working” on

One “positive” was that the portable fan and break area configuration was no longer visible from the walkway

AC is on good in here which is so nice. Its more like the side of the lounge where the TV room is which is the best, always cold. Side by the lounge chairs at MIA is always warm.
The new amouse bouche was nice actually. Not even touching the corn bread 3 x now at 3 diff lounges I should learn my lesson, it is dry, crumbles, and isnt anything special at all. Get some good bread and do a basket but oh well, new menu reads nice. Shrimp scampi, a snapper, some salmon. A scallop app too as well as patacon, a beet salad & some pork dumplings w/ a Caribbean flare.
Not sure where to even post this but I had the most disturbing experience with the lady letting people past her to check in for flights for the priority area. So just inside Door 2 slightly to the right . I was trying to ask her where Flagship First Check in was but she completely ignored me. I was overly nice in fact and smiled and said excuse me of coursre. I also waited until she was done talking to the current ppl whose BP she was checking. I then asked again and she ignored me. The third time she said :"I'm busy". A lady in line said "its okay you can answer him" She then kept ignoring me. I thought FFCI was by door 2 so i was just momentarily lost.
So at any rate I was not allowed into FFCI, which I found when a diff AA lady walking around took me there. I was not surprised to not let be in b/c i was on a separate ticket JFK-LAX so I cant check bags for that flight so it makes sense not to be let in. I have no bags anyways just was going to take the escort, although at MIA its really nothing I know. So in walking back towards the door 1 area TSA Pre i stopped b/c there was no line to go in and check bags where that lady was so I figured I would ask her why she ignored me. I was super nice and she goes "back away sir i dont have to answer your questions, back away or i will call security"
I never get mad really and like to be chill but F that lady, what a miserable freaking person. And nothing I can do. I say another word to her maybe she does call security and what if she lies and said i yelled at her or something.
Its ppl like that who shouldnt be working in any sort of customer service business. What a crappy way to begin the journey home.

The ignoring me on purpose was one thing but I will say really was disturbed by the 2nd interaction where she threatened security. Ugghhh. okay i need another glass of LPGS and then I will completely forget this..... Having a little anxiety right now too as i have my first ever 737 Max flight. I always go out of my way for 777's on this route but there are so few now and the one is too late. Not overly excited about this Max 8 flight to get up to catch the 321T home.

Glad you've completed your Max flight unblemished! Yeah, I don't recall when airport personnel had ever threatened to call security on me and certainly find it incredulous that she found it necessary during your exchange here. While I suppose I'd have taken it in stride--the LPGS certainly would have provided some consolation--it'd probably annoy for a little while.

FFD today at JFK was an absolute JOKE. Worst FFD experience ever..
The new salad says watermelon, radish, etc etc. Well someone needed to omit that comma as its watermelon radish. The salad also has tomatoes on it (not mentioned anywhere on menu). The lettuce came out warm, and it was not meant to be a grilled lettuce or anything like that. Bartender said she has seen that salad look 5 diff ways since the menu changed.
On the crostini there was NO pesto on the cheese. None whatsoever.
No LPGS
Out of both watermelon and blueberries so 2 of the 5 drinks were unable to be made.
By far the worst thing was the wait time on food. I had to leave and didnt get to see my wild mushroom ravioli. Table next to me they had 2 bites and had to bail. Lady got up and walked out who was waiting and waiting and waiting. New cook, short staff, who knows. We are talking 30+ minutes for ravioli. The lady said 45 minutes she was waiting. I have never seen this at FFD ever.
MIA had their stuff together today and all went well..

And thx... Just I'm a people person and more so always have good exchanges with the staff. I try to make a quick convo, etc etc. This lady never gave me a chance. It was crazy.
MIA FFD was very enjoyable today.........JFK not so much, just posted above on that.
