Flying ORD-AUH in business your only option will be whatever 3rd party lounge EY has partnered with at ORD T5 (they're all terrible).

Good for you.. unfortunately us 3rd class citizens flying out of ORD are stuck with the United Club and/or the Admirals Club.. how exciting. ORD really needs some help in the lounge department.

I'm with you on the lack of love at ORD. In my previous experience, ORD had the best food of any Flagship Lounge.

Which, given the .... situation of ORD, might be worth the 60 bucks.

ohh really? Is the lounge being gutted or is this just a new furniture thing? Fingers crossed for a world class lounge at ORD!

Ultimately it worked out. Plane was a bit late and I got there at 9:15 pm. AAgents consulted among themselves as to when FFD closed (they were told 10:00, even though officially it’s 10:30). Escorted to FFD and was the only customer for the hour-plus I was there, letting my checked bag gather dust on the carousel. Fine food and liquor as you’d expect. My appetite was modest after feasting on the plane (including ice cream sundaes once again). Had a couple of nicely cooked fish dishes. They were out of all but one red wine…..
also the espresso martini was awful but rest of food and drinks were top notch

If AA drops the standards just a wee bit more, they will equal the disgusting and poor F and C BA lounges at LHR.

I guess renovation was an inaccurate choice of words. It's part of the Terminal 5 expansion and repurposing. Delta will relocate to this terminal and there will be a new Delta Sky Club. Apparently this will serve as the lounge for the Sky Team airlines. So given present announced plans it appears we've seen the last of the mostly unloved and probably mostly unmissed AF/KLM lounge.

Can confirm it was unlimited. Put a large dent in the EWR UC's Buffalo Trace when flying TATL Polaris over the summer. And United has reopened a majority of its Polaris lounges again. Disappointed AA hasn't followed suit.
