At PHL B/C AC this AM. An attendant escorted me to a seat and offered me water/coffee/tea and a snack bag containing gluten-free crackers, cheese spread, almonds, pepperoni, M&Ms, gummy bears, a granola bar, mints, and a single packaged Purell wipe, all prepackaged. I could go to the bar for alcohol and was told to flag down anyone if I needed anything else. Seats were blocked off and the lounge *looked* spotless. Plastic foot pulls were installed on restroom doors to make them touch less.

My wife and son visited DCA this morning and described a very similar experience. The snack bags had handwritten notes with a "thanks for flying" type message. The normal water bottles/boxes were not available and they were given coffee cups full of water instead.

JFK is in Queens, so follows the NYC region, rather than the Long Island region reopening rules.

Damn, you're right. I guess I'll report back Friday on how the lounge experience at JFK is.

Flagship lounges are not currently open and there is no timeline for them to reopen. You option will be:

New York (JFK) Terminal B (only prepackaged food and water will be available, per local restrictions)

Terminal B does not have an AC only FL... Terminal C has the AC. FL is open for prepackaged food and being treated like an AC.

All these visits since reopening and no one has any pictures to share of the setups?

Id love to hear reports from JFK/LGA....I have seen a recent report that they dont even have the packaged snacks or water available.....just a place to sit and charge up essentially. Hopefully thats not the case.

At CLT C AC today (B AC still closed). It was about 30% full at 10:30 AM. You are escorted by an AAngel to your choice of socially-distanced seat. When you leave, it gets disinfected. There is an abbreviated drink menu (all from the bar--see post #56 ) with the usual free drinks (I had a Diet Coke) and snack bags only as reported elsewhere.

It was nice to be back in the lounge in DCA - only Terminal B's lounge is currently open. T.G. and Sunny are back to work at the bar - it was nice to see T.G. The only food option is the complimentary snack bag - was cute that they wrote welcome notes on them. Apparently alcohol prices have gone down, according to T.G. Bombay Sapphire is $9, down from $10.

TX Rolls Back- Bars Closed (as of noon June 26) Could impact DFW

Not sure if this impacst DFW AC reopenings. According to TX law a venue is considered a "bar" if 51% of their sales are alcohol vs. food. Also restaurants have to drop back to 50% capacity vs. currently 75% by Monday.

From https://www.kxan.com/news/coronaviru...ic-gatherings/

"AUSTIN (KXAN) — Texas Gov. Greg Abbott issued a new executive order Friday to close bars at 12 p.m. Friday and then limit restaurants to 50% capacity starting Monday in order to help prevent further spread of COVID-19."

I'm not sure how this will impact the lounge at DFW, but thought I'd share (and be prepared for possible closures):

Wow, I noticed different clubs giving out different snack bags/packages. LAX was terrible. Kudos to the staff that did a wonderful job trying to welcome me and offering to bring me coffee. Its a far cry from before. No real choice for anything. Not a big drinker so I can see traveling boozers still finding value in Admirals Club. If I had to pay for AC, and this is what the new "norm" would be, I'd take a pass. Definitely NOT worth the money for admission.

Now add MIA to the List - No Alcohol Sales Allowed in FL)

Florida just banned alcohol sales ban for bars and the like.. Don't know what effect it will have at MIA. I suppose it depends on how the ACs are classified..

Florida bans drinking alcohol at bars as state shatters record for new coronavirus cases

June 26, 2020 / 1:03 PM / CBS/AP

Florida has announced a ban on alcohol consumption at its bars after its daily confirmed coronavirus cases neared 9,000. The Florida agency that governs bars announced the ban on Twitter Friday just moments after the state's Department of Health reported 8,942 new confirmed cases – topping the previous record of 5,500 set on Wednesday.

"Effective immediately, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation is suspending on premises consumption of alcohol at bars statewide," the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation
