So, ANY mile earned will count towards Million Miller?

Please read the very first post in this tread where American Airlines is very clear on what will and will not count.

Yes, until Dec. 1 (and fewer words than the post above). :)

I chose to forgo brevity in favor of limiting the possibility of further questions that have already been answered in this thread....numerous times. :)

I understand. I looked at the location of the poster, the date (s)he joined FT and the number of posts and thought that patience might be a virtue in this instance. :)

Yes.
PayPal me via your CC $330,000. That should get you right to the 2MM mark. :D

@tom911...no. No loyalty to citibank. It could be the bank of Tom for all I care...AA miles are the only reason I am a cardholder.

I will say after everything is said and done I may still charge 100k a year. Just because as I posted before...the off-peak miles are a huge huge deal.

Yeah.. the "discount" really adds up when you're buying multiple award tickets at one go!

I think a lot of AA card holders will do exactly the same as the miles retain their value for flight purposes, with or without lifetime status attached to them.

AA sells miles in bulk to corporations for about 2.5 cpm or so, but you have to buy at least 250,000.... not a problem in your case! So maybe you should start one, and buy 330,000 miles for about $8,250 or so :D

(In all seriousness, as I run a business with some other AA frequent fliers, we actually contemplated giving early christmas bonuses in the form of miles, but at 2.5cpm it didn't seem like a good deal.)

I agree. And the ease of actually using those miles sets AA apart, at least from UA, which in my case would be the only alternative.

Plus I believe there is a limit to how many of those miles you can give to any one person.

But there must be loopholes as you can see from the threads some BD customers claim to have gotten 500k/1MM miles just form their accts there over time.

You already have your answer in the thread that you started:
