program is diluted
who has time to sit here and type all day. Bottom line: Aadvantage program is completely diluted from its original intention. BTW, SFO just lost direct flights to Hawaii...have to go thru LAX now. Lost Boston, what next? Something is definitely up. And as for venting, most things I just accept at AA as part of the world of travel, however, the customer service agents are pretty bad at responding in an articulate and informed manner. I know they read FT. Maybe they will respond.

Have not read through all 25 pages here - but it is clear that AA are not interested in UK customers any more.
The Amex card in the UK will not earn towards the status in the same way as the US credit card does. What advantages are there for non-US residents? (short of rewards, which any airline would give) |

(short of rewards, which any airline would give) It isn't that they are uninterested in UK per se, just that they are not interested in giving status to people just for an ability to spend money on a credit card. Fly on a OW carrier and you will get points towards status which will be same for anyone , wherever in the world from end of next year |

Is it just me or maybe AA is thinking about this?
AA could get some serious revenue if they offer a DEQM/TEQM for flight in OCT-NOV. This will force quite a few people to spend some money to get over the 1M/2M humps.

Um, isn't that the very definition of an MR? ;)
Taken loosely, I've been accused of it just for taking a circuitous routing on a flight I actually had to take for other reasons :) |

This statement must violate the T & C of Flyertalk!!! |
