Last 2 weeks no beef jerky packages in the snack trays, I liked them.

Please bring back the baileys for my coffee.

Probably could do hot sandwiches on flights that were 100% Boeing routes but wasn't one of the reasons for going away from hot dishes because the some Airbus fleet didn't have ovens. Maybe once the busses are gone hot meals will return.

So were there no hot meals in F on Airbus aircraft prior to COVID?

IIRC, some of the VX Airbus planes didn't have F ovens.

The Airbus don't have ovens in the back galley, hence, hot food for purchase in Main was discontinued. You still get warmed cookies in F on Airbus, right?

I fondly remember the grilled cheese with tomato bacon jam in Y. Those were sooo good.

Can’t they just plug in an easy-bake oven in the back of the airbuses? Problem solved.

As a side note, second DEN-SEA flight in a row that the snack basket has not appeared. Was really looking forward to the Swedish fish, I chalked up my outbound as maybe a miscater, but from SEA would expect it.

PDXPremier might be the only passenger in Main to get a fresh-baked cookie, not just warmed. Besides, a heat-generating incandescent light bulb is a difficult item to get ahold off these days. If the filament fails, at least you can still get half-baked.

Love the Swedish Fish! Great addition. Next up I would like to see cashews...whole, lightly salted.

The Kind Bar is also a more substantial snack option.
I prefer something I can eat without touching the food.

However, I had the beef jerky and it is the most substantial snack that doesn't includes nuts. To prevent touching the food with my hands, I can shake the pieces from the bag into my mouth like a school aged child does in a first class lunchroom.

I have an LAX-SEA 3 weeks out. It's already got a menu button but won't let me order once there. Still showing Harvest Smoked Turkey or F&C, but they've got some time to update it to something warm...
