Note: Chart only allows contiguous US and Alaska as "USA", however, AS connecting flights to Hawaii/Canada/Mexico are allowed. No chart for USA-Europe (though in theory you could redeem SIN-USA or USA-SIN routing on SQ onestops involving Europe and get off the plane in FRA/MAN, pretty high price in miles though). Stopover in SIN not allowed on regional awards (Intra-Asia,including South Pacific) not touching US.
"North Asia" includes China (PEK/PVG) as per latest update by AS. South Pacific is Australia/New Zealand

It is all auto by computers. The actual award is allowed on SQ side, that's why AS can pull and book it as one ticket. I don't believe that SQ offers segment by segment to AS, that's just too risky. I don't think it is AS IT that "fixes" it(in high confidence). IMO, SQ IT disallows such route as one one-way ticket.

Singapore Airlines has (had?) some 5th freedom routes like JFK-FRA and MAN-IAH. Anyone had any luck booking these flights with Alaska miles? Or is this not allowed?
Sorry if this was already discussed; I wasn't able to find it.

Read the wiki. No chart for USA-Europe. TPAC fifth freedoms are fine.

If I already have an intra-Asia award ticket booked with a stopover but want to change the date of the final leg, is there any chance AS will allow it? No destination or other changes.
it hasn’t happened yet but would trying to change it after the first leg has been flown make a difference?

After flying the first segment most people are denied changes:
Can I change one-way stopover award after flew the first segment?

You are right! I was thinking about an award that touches the US so my previous advice probably won't work today for an inter Asia award, but I would try it. First by seeing if they can change the date online, and failing that calling in.

Any recent datapoint how long it’ll take SQ to deposit miles into AS account after complete the flights?
Of course AS twitter team stick to standard talking point that it’ll take 4-6 weeks.
