Thanks for your answer per advance.
Unfortunately, we cannot help you without knowing in which fare class you are booked (information not available in the link you gave). To be eligible with FB, the flight has to be booked in the fare buckets mentioned in the screenshot below.

XP on Alitalia

Thanks for your answer + the screenshot.
If you go to Alitalia website, you find the following information
I went on Flying Blue, and I notice Classe V is giving XP. The flight is MRS - FCO - VCE / VCE - FCO - MRS.
if the fare is giving XP, do you know how much?

Where do you see « V »? If you mean the V-like sign we see for luggage, miles and seats, this is not the V letter but just an indication that you can open (deploy) the contextual menu.
For XP, any eligible fare fr which you earn miles is giving you XP. They are earned as per the usual FB table. A domestic flight in Y gives 2 XP, a European flight in Y gives 5 XP.
In your case you should earn 5+2+5+2=14 XP for the round trip. But again, providing you are booked in an eligible fare.

Alitalia have 20% off again until Tuesday.
From the Netherlands SAVE20NL:
https://www.alitalia.com/nl_nl/offer...al-save20.html

Valid for travel in Europe, North Africa and Middle East until end of March 2020 (with some blackouts)

Example AMS-FCO-ATH 375€ in business. Earns 60 XP.

Oh thanks for this, I really wanted to book something in the next version of this offer, but now I'm on the road somewhere in Hokkaido that's going to be tricky. I'll just have to hope another wave of this promotion comes along sometime.

On another note, I ended up not booking the 6 segment AF itinerary from GVA to BRS this autumn. I simply couldn't get a good price for the dates I wanted (€700 is too much). I really need to go and I got easyJet for CHF26 per direction on the dates I need, which obviously was impossible to resist! A good price is a good price!

Was just going to ask if it worked out of other countries. Thanks very much! Having said that, I don't think I can realistically do much about it here in the wilds of Hokkaido. Difficult to get your head round another trip when you are in the middle of an amazing one!

I was looking into going Gold next year and using the offer for some XPs. But as I'm interested in not wasting a lot of time with these XP runs, I'll probably go for intraEU J flights with 3 segments going there, 3 back.

Enjoy Japan!

I'm finding these 6 segment itineraries not so easy to nail. I think they have to be booked quite well in advance for the price to be in a reasonable range. I've been tending to think, oh it's a business class fare, I can book it nearer the time. But that's not the case.

Not from Amsterdam and not from Paris but from typically Western European bases. They've been discussed previously in this thread.

There is a business class sale from MAD to UIO on AF/KL - from 1220€ - you can theoretically fly MAD-CDG-AMS-JFK-UIO to maximize XP.
