I'll take the pizza any day over J meals as well. Rustic, indeed.

I like that salad too.

I also found the balsamic vinegar on the side as a bit odd.

That's what makes the bread palatable.

Does anyone know what AC serves for 156?
Never got the menu last time flying it.

Is it still the choice of omelette or the omelette, or the omelette?
It was dinner in January.

I can fetch the menu from January if you want that one. As a millennial hell-bent on cheapening the cabin, I ensure I snapchat each and every J and F menu.

YYZ-YUL dinner time flight had nothing but snack basket (A321)

YUL-YYZ dinner time flight had a cold appetizer type plate; corn with mozzarella cheese, tomatoes and some type of raw tuna or beef. It wasnt a Caprese salad. I enjoyed it(77W)

Do only the wide bodies get the actual cold plated snack on this route or is it only YUL-YYZ and not the other way around ?

What time of day?

I know when it's REALLY late, I've only had a snack basket on flights under 2 hours.

I've seen snack-basket-only service a lot on YYZ-YUL in both directions after morning breakfast cutoff, afternoon to evening time.

AC156: I was advised last night's flight in J served omelette, omelette, or omelette.

You are correct it will be omelette, omelette or more omelette. This is due to the 23:00 departure time. They also serve oatmeal with it, so I usually just do the fruit, bread, and oatmeal. The winter time 22:05 departure time serves a non PLH dinner.

Because I know it irritates some on this forum, let's coin a new term for the redeye omelettes.

Let's call it Ozone, but not to be confused with PE.

Do the YYC/YEG-YVR serve an actual hot or cold plate for lunch/dinnertime flights for Airbus flights or is it just snack baskets now?

I haven't flown in a couple months, but it was a cold plate last time I flew. Though that was a CRA, so obviously there was no hot plate.
