I can't tell you how many times I ignored this thread, thinking how people must have really had a beef or been traumatized by the Winnipeg incident.

As well, it may be that many incidents can simply be logged and eventually merged into this thread, however it does make sense to let new incidents have their airing and chance for discussion before being effectively archived.

Thanks!
Gosh - it is in quotes. It is meant to serve as an example of what you will find inside. It is a synecdoche (look it up). Not everything on the internet has to be strictly literal. And if it is still too hard, right in the title it says "The AC Master Incidents Thread".

Just like the passenger shaming thread is named "Shaves on a Plane", yet no one seems to complain that every incident is not about passengers actually shaving on a plane.

Exclamation

Folks, in future please direct comments or concerns regarding thread titles to forum moderators by way of PM rather than derailing the threads themselves. Let's get back to the thread topic at hand.

'For the 1st hour, it was really novel': Raccoon delays Air Canada flight

A raccoon stuck inside an Air Canada jet delayed a Toronto-bound flight for several hours on Thursday at Saskatoon's airport.

The animal was apparently, according to the airline, hidden inside the hose of an air conditioning unit when a ground crew connected the unit to the plane.

The raccoon then "scampered up and into the duct system," of the Embraer E90, said spokesperson Peter Fitzpatrick in an email to CBC News.

I would have fashioned a plunger onto a big stick and Dr Dao'd the Raccoon.

Next step would have been to skewer the rodent, break out the BBQ, and feature Raccoon Shish Kabob on the J menu. Pairs well with Merlot.

As the meme Saskatchewan roadside sign says "There is room for all of God's creatures...... on my plate".

I would have thought Raccoon would have been featured on the BOB menu

BOB menu contains food that is far far less fresh than a Raccoon. That Raccoon's cost is far too high for Air Canada management to feature as food for their passengers.

Raccoon delays AC flight for several hours

'For the 1st hour, it was really novel': Raccoon delays Air Canada flight CBC News

Perhaps the raccoon had ambitions to become a comfort animal?

Or maybe just a cameo in the pre-flight safety video?
