This thread originally contained any and all information relating to flying with AC in the times of COVID. As travel has picked up, much of the discussion has been moved to dedicated threads to make topics easier to follow. Threads that may be of particular interest to those travelling during COVID:
Meal threads:
Schedule changes/refunds - temporary COVID-related policies:
The above threads are in the process of winding down as AC moves away from temporary COVID-related policies. Most questions on schedule changes/refunds should be directed to the thread on AC's new permanent schedule change policies
Other AC-related threads:
Pre-travel e-mails:
Information on immigration rules and procedures, and other government requirements, from the Canada forum:
Airport-related threads containing information that may be relevant to AC passengers, but that are not specific to AC (there are many others in the Canada forum; these are a few that have come up frequently):
(Other threads with immigration/government-related questions not specific to AC can be found on the Canada forum, and experiences and questions on those topics should be posted there)

Is anyone actually flying AC domestic or international in these Covid-filled days?

With these 8 zones of boarding being used right now, as a P25 and also having an Aeroplan infinite privilege credit card (both offering priority boarding), do they still provide Zone 2?
Also anyone have the “tool” to check the actual load in 870 on 10/3? Thanks. Seat map looks empty, but we know this doesn’t reflect unassigned seats.
thanks!

Regardless of what all your friends tell you, or what the menu says, SFO-YVR has bubbly
The brie is actually VERY good. Not wine-and-cheese-bar good, but very good.

I am going to get a car in Edmonton and just do the drive to Toronto..[/QUOTE]
I've done a lot to avoid flying AC - but that would be a line I'd draw
I hope you dont plan on doing the ~36 hours of driving in one go .....

I just did my first flights since March
YYZ-YUL and home.
Definitely felt surreal . YYZ (and to a lesser extent) YUL felt quiet...yet busy.
I was in J for the flight out and it was me and mostly uniformed AC staff. One thing I need to get used to is the lack of frequency in the current Rapidair. I finished my meeting early but there is a big hole from 10am to 2pm for the next flight back to YYZ.
YUL had one sitdown and a bunch of take away options opened (Starbucks is closed).
Flew home with my own private O cabin. I forgot how quickly and easily I can nap on those flights.
It was nice to get back in the air. I have no idea when I will be doing it again.
YYZ-YUL and home.

Currently airborne on AC244 YVR-YEG, A319 service in J. I am very pleased to announce that onboard service seems to have resumed on these short flights. We were provided with a snack (salad with Feta and hummus), and I'm drinking Bottega Gold. Pics will follow.
Edit: wanted to include load info, I arrived YVR on AC8070. 41 PAX according to PIL including at least 5 non revs. AC244 is between 50-60 PAX according to me.

FWIW, just got an email from AC.
My AC781 YUL --> SFO on December 17th changed from a 737Max8 (whatever...) to an A220-300.
Obviously very happy to fly the A220.

Flying YYZ-YYJ and back for the long weekend. Flying direct on AC vs Rouge and the plane looks rather empty. Here's hoping for my own row !
